Clay-d Lang is hot.
|
Megan has nice tits. Who's wearing more lipstick? Megan or Clay?
|
Some might argue that Clay Aiken was better the first time around when she/he was Ann Murray

Was it just me or did Don Pardo say "Chris Kattan" during Chris Parnell's intro?

I haven't missed a new SNL in quite a while, but I had NO idea Pardo's been reading the names in the open live.
and yes, Megan Mulllly is wicked hot. |
By far the best episode of the season. M.M. was a great host, and the skits ranged from good to hilarious. Home run!
Nightline At least the Janet Jackson jokes are getting out of the way early. Hammond as Brokaw, Myers as Kerry, Forte as Richards, and Parnell as Lieberman. Good perfs all around. Monologue Odd song and dance number, but worth it when M.M. called Clay “Ruben Studdard”. Celebrity Poker I was laughing the whole way through. Kevin Pollak (Fallon) doing impressions and getting yelled at by pro player Phil Gordon (Parnell). Carrot Top, Gene Shalit, Geraldo Rivera, and Tammy Faye Messner were the annoying celebs. Very funny. Babies in thongs commercial This has been shown several times. Make a new one! Momma’s boy Seth Myers as a thirtysomething man playing silly games with his mother as his fiancée looks on in disgust. “Why would you tell her where the baby bear is? What’s the point?” Golden Globes A lot of impressions tonight. Poehler was dead-on as a longwinded and pompous Sharon Stone. MM was very funny, but may have ruined her chances at any future Golden Globe awards. Oprah Rudolph as Oprah giving out gifts as her studio audience whips itself into an insane frenzy. Taxi driver MM as a taxi driver letting her black passengers know how much she loves them. Weekend Update Native-American comic! Yay! Best line came from Fallon: “It was Groundhog Day this week. Janet Jackson’s breast popped out and saw its shadow, meaning six more weeks of overreaction.” The Wizard of Oz Apparently, Dorothy’s house took out a few munchkins as well as the witch. “My spine! My spine!” One question, who the heck was Darrell Hammond supposed to be at the end? The Zinger I like the new character of the Zinger. Tonight he faced the Slammer. Grammys This was good, with Leon Warwick and Connie Raitt trying to cash in on their aunts’ names and get into the Grammys. They didn’t get inside, but Trey Aiken did. By the way, Don Pardo screwed up what must be the easiest job in the entire world! |
Megan Mullally is hot hot hot!
Yeah, I also like Seth Meyers as the "Zinger". Damn, how did he keep track of that Rube Goldberg zing at the end? And I just noticed how the useless Jeff Richards wasn't even on tonight. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. Can't wait till Lorne cans his ass... |
I noticed that Jeff Richards wasn't even in the opening credits tonight. Does anyone have any info on if he's off the show or what? (I was praying for some Busey during the Celebrity Poker skit :()

It was good the first time with Alec Baldwin but it's old already. Megan did what she could with the slam bit. Two pretty good cuts by Clay. He's not in the musical superstar league but he did a good job. He seems to perform much better than his AI collegue, Kelly Clarkson. No drunk girl character. There is a God. I went over to MadTV during the commercials. Better skits really as usual. |
This was a really good episode. MM is hot. My favorite episode tonight was the Zinger one. I guess I still think it was funny even if the Alec Baldwin one was better than this evenings.

Overall, the show was not very good. As per. I only watched because I love Megan Mullally. Who looked great. The Oprah skit was the funniest part of the show. Followed closely by the Sharon Stone/Golden Globe spoof. And sorry, but I don't even think Clay Aiken makes a pretty girl. He's the weirdest/most disturbing/creepiest person I've ever seen. The Clay-d Lang remark was hilarious. But he looks more like the love child of Ed Grimley and Radiohead's Thom York.

I haven't laughed as hard at SNL in years as I did during that Oprah skit. It is so dead-on true and I loved how the women were peeing their pants and humping each other. Man, I was almost in tears.
I Tivo Oprah upstairs and I watch it before I go to bed sometimes when the topics interest me. The last time she did "My Favorite Things" I showed the crowd reaction to my husband and we were both snickering over how these women need to get a grip. So he also loved the Oprah skit. |
Okay, this is bugging me now. Wasn't this one a mother on an old sitcom?

Looks like Vic Tayback to me.

WHY exactly is Jeff Richards gone?
I will miss Drunk Girl and Busey... :( |
