Boston Public "Chapter Seventy-Eight" 01.23.2004

Chapter Seventy-Eight

Affirmative action becomes a heated issue, embroiling students and teachers alike, in and out of the classroom. Elsewhere, an unorthodox art teacher (Phil Buckman) challenges pupils in defiance of Guber; and a 28-year-old seeking a diploma clashes with Lipschultz.
I don't know if it's due to the fact that this show is all but cancelled, but I liked this ep [well, except the 28 year old saccharine filled storyline...though it was good to see Harv do something].

AND an appearance by Ms. Torres.

I agree. This season has been pretty solid. Hopefully we get a serious series finale and they don't just up and kill it.

It doesn't sound like it.

It was good to see Harvey back in the fold. He hasn't been on for several weeks.

Def,

What did you mean by "it doesn't sound like it?" Have you heard it's about to get axed real soon?

This season been very good. BP moved back near the top of my list of most-favorite shows.

I finally watched the past 3 BP episodes, and haven't hated most of the storylines.

We must find Becky another gig, she's smokin' hot and is cute too.

The art teacher cracked me up, especially his last line to Ronnie (paraphrased) "It would have much cooler if you didn't turn around!"

I knew Marilyn was going to pull out the MLK line as her rebuttal against Affirmative Action.

Doesn't Rainy remind you of a teenage version of Brenda on Six Feet Under (Rachel Griffiths)?
