Captain Kangaroo: RIP
http://www.cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/TV/0...kangaroo.dead/
He'll be missed as he and his crew were part of many many people's childhoods. RIP. |
I never really watched the show, but I appreciate his contribution to children's television. Fred Rogers last year, now the Captain. Who's next, Easy Reader? :(

R.I.P. big guy.

Many pleasant memories of this show. RIP, Captain.

I hope someone sings the Colgate Flouride song at his funeral...
Colgate Flouride MFP, helps prevent the ca-vi-ty, and it tastes great naturally! Captain, thanks for the memories, and for taking all those ping-pong balls from Bunny Rabbit for us. http://www.austinchronicle.com/issue...ns_tveye-1.jpg |
I remember spending a lot of early saturnday mornings watching him :(
|
Never really watched the show or Fred Rogers but I know that had quite a contibution to the thousands of kids who grew up watching them.

There are probably too many from the younger crowd on this forum that didn't have a chance to appreciate great morning television with the likes of the Captain and Mr. Rogers. Both are a great loss to a generation of children.
