Gotta love the atmosphere. (always seems to be best during night)
Torture is always a nice addition as well.
Hottie
This reminds me of Manhunt/Splinter Cell, just like the first season reminded me of MGS... Sweet

Damn good episode, but will someone please explain to me why Chloe is getting so much screentime? Seriously, it feels like the only reason she's around is to make Kim seem less annoying(which is futile after Season 2).
The incident with the baby could be Season 3's equivalent of the amnesia and cougar trap subplots.

I think there's something more the Chloe. There has to be. I mean, in season 2, it was understandable that they wanted to keep Kim around since viewers knew her from the first season. But with Chloe, she's such a small part of the show, that she's got to be a bigger part of something don't you think? Not talking conspiracy neccesarily, though.
And, anyone else think that this season will be the opposite of the last two? Instead of a great first half and lackluster second half, we'll get a lackluster start and a great second half of episodes?

Hopefully Chloe and Kim will get into a catfight, with only one girl surviving. That should solve one problem.
Maybe Chloe's baby belongs to one of the guys at CTU and they don't know about it...now who at CTU would be desperate enough to sleep with Chloe? Tony? Chase? Chappelle?

I really hope the Chloe storyline either disappears or gets exciting in a hurry, because I don't know what the hell the baby has to do with fighting terrorism. I hope they don't get too soap opera-ish and make some sense of it soon.
On a totally separate note, I know a lot of people have speculated that Jack will or should die sometime this season. One thing I was thinking of tonight was what if at the end of the season Jack actually did become a bad guy and turn on CTU? He wouldn't even have to join with the Salazars, maybe he would turn on them as well and just go off on his own. I don't know how it might work, maybe some big showdown with him and Chase, but it'd definitely throw everyone for quite a loop. Plus it would allow Chase to step into the lead role for next season (he's already on his way to a badass just like Jack) and allow Kiefer to take some time off and then re-appear as a surprise villian somewhere down the road, since villians in this show never seem to be gone for very long. Or he could "just disappear", as he claimed to Nina.
I know it's pretty preposterous, but they always say they wanna keep viewers on their toes, this is one way to do it.

Interesting theory, BubbaTC.
Agreed about Chloe's baby. I don't see Jack becoming the bad guy, but it could happen. Maybe Chase will stop Jack from releasing the virus. But why would Jack have Claudia save Chase? Maybe to reassure the people at CTU about his plan.
Now we are asking whose side is Jack on now?
At least we now know that Nina was restricted to Africa out of her immunity.

Poor Cloud-YA
Chase is well on his way to being the new Jack: everyone who trusts or helps him bites the pipe.
I think that Palmer's brother is the new time-killing filler plot. I can't see it getting as ridiculous as 2nd season Kim.
Reporter: "Mr. President...where is your brother?"
Palmer: "The Chief of Staff was mauled by a Dingo..."

Next Tuesday is the Presidential State of the Union Address, so 24 will be back in 2 weeks.
So what's Jack's body count up to now? He blasted at least 3 baddies this hour.
I was actually enjoying Chase's torture scene because that's what you get for being thick and hardheaded.
Maybe the baby's Tony's.
Who would have thought Zooey in a knocking-boots situation.

That's probably the worst performance I've ever seen on this show. Dennis Hopper can finally breathe a bit easier.

The stuff with Chase was really the only good thing this week. The Jack/Nina stuff was good last year but it's lost the impact that it had last year at their first meeting after she killed Teri.
Hopefully bringing Sherry back will help the Palmer story since that's going nowhere right now.

In this month's Playboy interview with Keifer he says that he's not going to die this year or be off the show, but eventually he wants to hand the show off to someone else. He hopes that it will be like Law & Order where it's the format that keeps the show going, not just the cast.

Chloe has a baby? I think this is the biggest "Holy Shit!" moment in the history of 24. I can't imagine that frigid bitch sleeping with anyone, and who'd want her? $20 says she stole it.
Poor Chase. First he gets killed in Lord of the Flies, now he's getting tortured by the Salozars.
Almost forgot to mention Lady McPalmer. Hopefully that will spice up the President's story because that's been the Kim story of this season, a complete distraction and waste of time but without the boobs.
