Your views on these shows.

here in the UK we have just got a list of upcoming U.S shows on our channels, and I was wondering if you could share you views with me.
NIP/TUCK, sounds good and there are ALOT of adverts for this.
LAS VEGAS, I'm looking forword to this.
WITHOUT A TRACE, I love CSI and it looks like more of the same.
THE HANDLER, I read a review that said it has a slow pace.
THE OC, I read alot of things on this forum about this.
JAKE 2.0, Don't know.
Thanks.

Only one I've seen is NIP/TUCK, and it's quite good. Note that it's also quite graphic as well (plastic surgery operations). It's shown up on a lot of "Best of 2003" lists for television shows.

Las Vegas - cheesy fun and hot chicks.

That's the only show on the list I watch.

I think The Handler is pretty boring.
The OC kicks ass, funny as hell and very entertaining. Definitely watch that one.

Nip/Tuck, Las Vegas, and The OC are my 3 favorite shows on television. Nip/Tuck is the best show on television IMO.

The Handler and Without a Trace are fine shows as well.

Good call - these are fine shows indeed.

I really can't say anything bad about any of those shows. Jake 2.0 is the only one that isn't "great," but it's still pretty darn good, and a hell of a lot better than I ever expected it to be. Without a Trace is like C.S.I., except it doesn't rely on cool gadgets special effects, so it's a more dramatic and realistic show under a similar formula. Flip The O.C. and The Handler on your list, and that's probably how I'd rank them. Las Vegas is just way too much fun. It's not the best show of the year, but it's probably my favorite.

Out of the shows on your list, I watch the following:

Las Vegas
Without a Trace
The Handler

I don't watch Las Vegas regularly.

Without a Trace is a very good show I try not to miss every week. I think it's better than CSI. Unlike CSI which usually start the investigation with a dead body, Without a Trace team starts investigation with a missing person. Time is more critical in Without a Trace since the person may still be alive need to be rescued.

The Handler I try to watch every week but the local CBS doesn't broadcast it every week. Preempted with other programming frequently. Very annoying.

NIP/TUCK - watched it a few times. It's pretty goofy from what I have seen, but very enjoyable.

LAS VEGAS - great show that can be cheesy at times, but it's fun to watch.

WITHOUT A TRACE - great investigative drama. Has an excellent cast and is better than CSI, imo. I actually prefer to watch this before ER now.

THE HANDLER - watched it for a month and got bored w/ it, Joey Pants can only do so much for a show.

THE OC - second favorite show on the tube (after Scrubs). Funny as hell at times (due to great writing) - another pretty good cast.

JAKE 2.0 - this shows alright and I catch it when I can. It can be pretty good at times.

I like "The Handler". It doesn't try to knock you out with unlikely action every episode. Joey Pants is very good, as are the other members of the cast.

Never saw any of the others shows.
