Why is FOX showing repeats....?
Why is FOX showing repeats of shows that were on less than a week ago? Aren;t they reaching the same demographic as they just reached a few days before?
|
My guess is that it is due to the next two weeks being holiday weeks. Nothing but repeats on all of the channels.

Holiday season
Bowl season (28 in all) People are busy this time of year. I guess you could name off many different reasons but every year it's like this. I don't mind. I watch too much tv as it is. |
oh.. i agree with the reason for repats... but what is the point in showing the same show that was on (in same cases) less than 48 hours to a week before
|
Well if you're talking about the Simpsons and King of the Hill... the Simpsons was a Christmas episode, and most of the country got screwed on that KOTH episode that was almost completly pre-empted by football.
Plus this has got to be a reallly slow time for tv veiwing. |
Yeah, Im not very happy about the way FOX handles football overrun when they have late games. I think the episode where the Dallas Cowboy player moves into the neighborhood has only been seen partially twice (at least in my market anyhow).

I really thought they should have aired a Simpsons X-Mas special from a few year's back or even last year, but I turned on the TV and saw the episode that was on just last week and I was slightly peeved.

exactly.... that was my thinking

Yeah...next week they're running repeats of all the repeats they've already run of "The Simple Life"
Meanwhile, Jack Bauer probably won't be seen again until mid-January...even though 24 episodes would make the MOST SENSE to re-run...to try and pick up viewers who missed the early shows. |
