I kinda wish they made another series in the TNG era. Kinda sucks they went back to the old days before Kirk. Even if they kept the same cast, it would of been great in the future.

They give the random crewmen lines? this is a step up from Voyager, where Nelix would have a bunch of crewmen follow him around, being mimes, because they didn't have the money to give them lines.

Just the Red Shirts. It’s kinda like, “Hey, we’re gonna kill your character off, but you get a line or two.”


BTW, just watched DS9 “Rejoined” where Worf has taken out the Defiant. In his log entry, he says “Lieutenant Commander Worf.” At least that’s what I think he says. I’d go back, but I’ve got the girl/girl scene with Dax on A-B repeat and am kinda busy at the moment.

you get called captain when you're in command but you still have your true rank so in a log it makes sence to use the true rank

Yeah, I watched “Starship Down” this morning. Sisko entered a “Captain’s Log,” whereas Worf entered a “Defiant Log…Lt. Cmd. Worf reporting” in the other episode.

Never been in the military, so all this is Klingon to me.
