Well, we know that Sloane wants the Rambaldi device. He's the one that suggested that for the item the "Covenant" trades for Sydney.

So now that Lindsey says he is willing to make the trade, but he wants a sniper to take out Syd, we have to wonder if Sloane will just let Syd die so he can get the device back. I think that is what they implied he would do.

so this episode delt with mostly what did happen during those 2 years via the flashback, do we learn anything significant about what happened other then what we already know? And Sloan helping people in all was bull shit right? I mean, he's still looking for Rambaldi?

I thought it was so great that Lindsay claimed to know Sloane's endgame, and when Sloane saw it he wasn't surprised in the least. But what I really liked was that they didn't show us. Yeah, the cliffhanger at the end was expected, but I think the Lindsay/Sloane scene's cliffhanger was better.

I believe Kurt Fuller is still listed as a "guest star" so who knows how much longer he'll last.

Anyone else notice that "St. Aidan" was also written in icing on the b-day cake?

I noticed that immediately, too. Maybe it's the place that Lazaree (sp?) is being hidden. Or something to that affect.

Damn that cliffhanger was good...I was yelling at the TV.
Me too, Kal.

This ep kicked some serious a$$. This is what I love about tv, when I can hardly stand waiting a week for the next episode, thus feeling exhilarated from all the great stuff I just saw and also feeling frustrated that I can't see what happens next right NOW.

Might just have to buy these season sets after all.

OK, I missed the previews for next week, and wanted to know if anyone can share what was in them? I caught the spoilers here, but does anyone have more details, what they showed exactly, etc??

As soon as "Alias" popped up on the screen at the end of the show, my wife raised a middle finger to the television.

Damn the cliffhanger!

Another great episode. Alias is fast becoming the show I look forward to the most every week.

Ah, Blair Witch 2. That's where I knew her from.

No way would I have come up with that on my own...

Great episode all around. Probably my favorite so far this season.

Agreed. Definitely my favorite of the season. I was starting to become very annoyed at this show, but this one episode has really gotten me interested again.

The punches were "real"... they needed to make it look like The Covenant had roughed Lauren up a bit. In the dream sequence, I think Lauren kicked Syd's ass a bit.

Sydney was trying to access what had happened to her over the past years by undergoing a procedure designed to unlock her memory. In her mind, she goes into a room that she remembers being taken to after the fight with Allison/FakeFrancie at the end of S2. She walks into the room, looks shocked, says "Oh my God" or something along those lines, and the show ends without her revealing what had shocked her.

About next week... some things that were mentioned on my TiVo summary for the episode that were not in the preview are:
Spoiler:
- Sydney pulls Will out of Witness Protection, but they meet up with Alison Dorn
- Lindsey arrests Jack & Vaughn
- David Cronenberg returns as Dr. Brezzel and has an unpleasant meeting with Sark

i cannot believe people liked this episode. i thought it was the worst episode of alias every. absolutely nothing happened, very unlike an alias episode. the only character i still like is jack, he is so cool. this show really misses Will and his humanity and every person point of view. michael varitan is the worst actor in america. i am still hoping when jennifer garner breaks up with him she will force him off the show.

Rypro - have you thought about just getting it from BT? Shows are pretty easy to find, and you can get the widescreen HD versions

I've found that the episode summaries on tvtome.com usually contain info re: actors/actresses of these minor parts. That's where I got the heads up re: Erica Leerhsen

Oh, let's see:

Dixon was arrested
Sloane, Sydney and Jack are working together again.
Syd got to smack the crap out of Lauren.
We learned that Lazaray wasn't murdered by Sydney, and that it all has something to do with Rimbaldi.
Sloane's "endgame" is mentioned, meaning he officially isn't one of the good guys anymore.

Looks like plenty of stuff to me. What more did you want?

Interesting, the second item is NOT surprising (I mean, DUH... ), but as for that third thing,
Spoiler:
who is Dr. Brezzel, should I remember him?
