Scrubs 11/20

Has there ever been a Scrubs show that hasn't ROCKED?! Ted was hilarious yelling at Dr. Kelso! rotfl

PONCH!!!!!
:jawdrop:

Draven 11-21-03 12:08 AM

The waffle song was my favorite part.

And Nicole Sullivan. She was the only reason I ever watched Mad TV.

hahn 11-21-03 12:16 AM

Wow, I don't think I can think of another sitcom that has ever been as equally moving as it is funny.

Cox with a huge grin on his face while the merry-go-round seat rocked back and forth, was classic.

"There you are you deaf bastard":lol:rotfl:lol:

I can't remember the last time I laughed this much during a tv show. So much great stuff tonight with the janitor, Ted, the Todd, Turk, JD, and Cox.

I loved the shot of the four of them on the merry-go-round after Cox talked about JD and Jordan.

Kicker_of_Elves 11-21-03 02:05 AM

Great Episode!

Had me laughing nearly non-stop. :)

kantonburg 11-21-03 06:10 AM

I love The Todd!

Hell I love all the characters. This show is easily the best sitcom on television. At the very least the best scripts.

"Paging Dr. Dorian - Dr. Turk is ready for his rectal exam."

Janitor was killing me last night. He was just too much.

Dr. Cox grinning when the ferris wheel was stuck after he told Danni that J.D. slept w/ Jordan was great.

hahn - I agree. this show can go from being comedicly absurd to dead serious in about five seconds. They do it better than anyone.

Seeing J.D. w/ Tara Reid makes me yearn for the days of Gift Shop Girl or Hot Coma Wife. :(

Patman 11-21-03 07:40 AM

Another winning episode! They must also try to slip in so many jokes per 15 second increments on the show.

Meteu185 11-21-03 07:51 AM

Show keeps getting better and better every week. So funny, yet still wrapped into good plot lines.

Anyone know the ratings for it recently?

Can a TV-14 show move into Friends spot next year, or does TV-14 have to be after 9pm?

I don't think that is an issue. I believe Scrubs is moving back to the 8:30 slot after sweeps when they move Good Morning Miami back into the 9:30 slot to replace the cancelled Coupling.

Another great episode.

One thing though - wasn't it nice and sunny in the park when JD and Danni had their first kiss? It seemed like in the final scene with the suicidal patient there was snow on the ground outside the hospital. Snow in southern CA in November? :whofart:

Did anyone else notice how liberal they were with the 15-second rule? I noticed a couple of times it would slow down and stay on the same number for 2 or 3 seconds to get all the dialogue in.

tofu 11-21-03 10:40 AM

The scene where they're all stuck on the ferris wheel. Classic Scrubs.

"ok think of something romantic: How about thinking of a nickname for my penis. rotfl ."
This show is great. Bring on the complete first season already. I missed the first two seasons

I caught that too. I was thinking about how cool it was they timed it, and then I saw some cheating :)

"Joey" gets the Friends timeslot.

Rypro 525 11-21-03 02:05 PM

and friends is defenetly TV-14, and if nbc followed everybody else and had content discriptors as well, it would be like TV-14-D-L every week.

Patman 11-21-03 02:09 PM

I really want this show on a DVD box set.

TK-421 11-21-03 02:15 PM

Anyone know the song from the beginning?

movieking 11-21-03 03:19 PM

Fantastic episode once again. I always say that the two funniest shows on TV are this and King of Queens, but KOQ is no longer even in the same echelon as Scrubs. Scrubs is TV at its best.

Yeah, whats the point if they aren't going to do it right? Wasn't really that great a gimmick to begin with.

Lazlo Bane - "Superman"

I highly recommend the Scrubs soundtrack, it is fantastic.

When is Tara Reid leaving? She's making episodes less enjoyable for me. :(

Totally agree on both points. I have to add that this is the only tv show where even after I'm done watching the show, just remembering the scenes brings me back laughing in the same intensity as when I was watching it.

I want this on DVD now dammit!
