Cold Case 11/16/03

A look back into the 1960's gay culture in Philly, when it was not as socially acceptable to be out in the open for homosexuality, and a murder is committed and the case is re-opened at the behest of the mother of the victim.

I like the flashback recreation of the 1960's in this episode, and the cast is pretty strong. I liked how Lilly uses little bits of info to leverage information out of the witnesses and move people to do the right thing.

Can anyone tell me then ending. I taped the show in it's normal time slot, but due to football, the time shifted ahead 15min. So I missed the last 15 min. Please help.

Thanks.

He was murdered by the guys who dumped the chinese food on him. They interviewed one of the guys in a garage earlier in the episode. Two cops actually saw the attack. A couple of neighborhood guys started to chase the gay guy, and he finally had enough, and started swinging the bat at them. They overpowered him and took his bat and beat him to death. One of the cops finally told Lily what happened...

I really liked the episode. It was interesting to see Tinkerbell in his advanced age....

This show always gives me a lump in my throat during the ending montage with the great music and the victim looking on as the crime is solved...so sad :( yet so satisfying....:)

I think all this ep was the most all-around original and interesting so far this season (series). The time frame and subject matter aren't what you see on TV all the time. And I agree with Vegas, the endings are always good, and touching
