Help! Trying to remember info about an old cartoon
 

Hi, my friend and I were talking about a bunch of old cartoons from the 1980's when one of us brought up this cartoon that I honestly hadn't thought about in like 15 years.

It was about some kid who anytime he ate or drank something hot, or had hot water spilled on him, he turned into a red convertable, and every time he cooled down, he turned back into a boy.

If anyone out there knows what I'm talking about, any information about this show would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

an 80 cartoon where the main character could turn into various animals (i think) sound like anything anyone remembers?

There was a live action show like that called Manimal and then there was the Wonder Twins on the old Justice League cartoons.
