Get ready for a whole new set of makeovers next Tuesday on Bravo. Plans are for a total redo of a loft. And perhaps more new twists.

I wonder if the rumor that they leave the NYC/NJ area are true.

I read a month or so ago that for some of the new episodes, they travel to places like the midwest and texas.

The Bible belt would be fun. Don't know where they would get their fancy, expensive products there.

Don't know the answer to this but they did just do the hair portion of an upcoming episode in my girlfriend's ultra-hip salon in the east village, but that's just one eipsode.

What's the name of her salon so we can be on the lookout for it on the show?

It's called Whistle. The episode will be on around xmas time. She's an original client, which is good since they're so successful they don't take new clients anymore. I don't know how they're going to deal with all the people trying to get appointments after the show airs!

I thought she owned the salon. I'll look for it anyway.

I wish! They're doing great. Unfortunately it works the other way: She gives them money.

Are there actually any straight men that watch this show? Every one that I know has nothing but derogatory comments about this program. However, almost all the women at my office seem to love it. Gay guys and gals I guess would pretty much a given.
I'm pretty ambivalent myself. It's harmless but, at the same time, doesn't really help matters much. Kinda feeds into some negative stereotypes that the gay community has had trouble shaking off through the years. But it is entertaining, and that may be the point.

I'm a straight guy and I'd actually like to get made over. The show and the guys (especially Carson) make it funny...
