Can we discuss satellite issues in here?
 

There used to be a forum where we could discuss all things satellite, Tivo and other communication devices. Does such a place still exist?

I'd say technical questions about it belong in the DVD Hardware forum.

Well, since i discovered that Dish will not be carrying the NFL Network i began thinking about switching to DTV.
I was wondering if they (DTV) offer any deals on HDTV set-up packages, and how their pricing compares to that of Dish Network's.

Dish's HD package is $9.99/month. Directv's HD package is $10.99/month. The HD receivers can sometimes be as low as $399 installed for directv.

As for pricing, Dish has always led Directv in pricing; usually Dish undercuts Directv by a couple of bucks (upto $8/month on its largest package). If you want NFL Network, get Directv; very simple choice.
