South Park: Grey Dawn (11/5)

Wow, 3 new eps, and all have been winners.

The tribute to Red Dawn (one of my favourite films) was great, although I fear it will be lost on the majority of South Park viewers.

I got the Red Dawn thing. My friend did not. Mostly because Red Dawn's been one of my favorite movies since I was a little kid. I have that movie memorized.

I saw the Matrix tonight, got home around 9:30-10, and completley forgot about the episode. I haven't missed a new South Park in years. Suprising for me. I normally never miss a new episode. The commercials looked hilarious, I'll try and see it later on tonight or on the weekend.

The whole AARP bit was funny.

I loved Cartman's plan to destroy the Country Kitchen

This episode was good for quite a few laughs. Especially the whole Country Kitchen Buffet thing.

As always Cartman is the most hilarious thing on South Park. Overall though I liked this episode better than the previous two. "I love you guys, except you Kyle."

Hmmm, I thought this was the weakest ep so far this 'season'. Although I did appreciated the Red Dawn stuff - 'Avenge me! Avenge me!'

South Park hasn't seemed as good to me the past few seasons and I have been a fan since the start. I found very few laughs in this one or the first episode of the season. Last weeks was a classic to me. It seems like each season has 2 or 3 hilarious episodes and the rest it seems like they spent 30 minutes making them. I have never seen Red Dawn so it might have been funnier if I knew what it was parodying.

I've never seen Red Dawn, but I still think this ep was far funnier than it had any right to be. And Carman's plan was pretty damn_funny.

Has anybody else noticed Stan saying "I hate my family" more than usual in the past season or so? Could Matt and Trey be setting up something Joss Whedon style? Or is that giving them too much credit.

The funniest part was Mr. Marsh's hysterics when he realized all the old folks would be on the road at the same time, especially as he was trying to warn the boys.
"BOYS! GET OFF THE STREET!"
"AAAAAHHHHH!"
"STREET! AHHHHHHH!"

Honk!

I was waiting for the "Avenge ME!" yell, and wasn't disappointed, but where was the "Wolverines!" and the cheesy plaque at the end?
