Chris Elliot is everywhere!

He seems to be doing really well these days. As of last night, it appears he is a permanent cast member of Raymond, as well as a regular on Leave it to Jim. He was particularly good on Raymond last night (better than the rest of the cast).

Are there any other shows he's on?

I don't know about currently, but I would love to see somebody replay Get A Life.

TheMadMonk 11-04-03 10:59 AM

I've never heard of "Leave it to Jim"

Get a Life did rule.

Are there any more Get a Life dvds scheduled for release? what about cabin boy2 or a movie based on his book, daddys boy?

I meant According to Jim.

I heard him interviewed on a local station yesterday. He said that his work on Raymond was the best thing he's ever done. I can't stomach that show so I missed it.

Funny thing... Chris said on this interview that he doesn't remember a lot of things he did in the 80's... like on Letterman. He did so many things he just can't remember it all. He said he walked into his den recently and his kids were watching an old SNL he was on and he was embarrassed by what he saw.

Wasn't Chris "Man Under the Stairs"? I remember that. Heh. I remember him doing Brando too, something with beans.

I really don't remember him on SNL. One season, correct?

I always thought Chris was hilarious on the NBC Late Night With David Letterman shows...but have never found him funny since he branched out on his own...I still remember "Fugitive Guy" though...and the dog food test!

In the past two years, I've caught Chris on those two shows, plus an episode of Still Standing and Primetime Glick. He's always guest starring on programs. You can catch him in these spots in a ton of shows on repeats as well (Dilbert, The Nanny, Wings, Larry Sanders).

He was only on SNL for one season, correct. 1994-1995 and he was used pretty sparingly.

Yeah, the guy had a lot of promise. He was great on Dave way back when. Cabin Boy and many of his other later projects stunk.
