So what do you like about Enterprise?

Iíve seen some of youse claim to like Enterprise. But almost never with a qualifier.

Maybe itís because you know youíre already in a hostile environment. Scream ďI like itĒ and run away very fast. Canít say I blame you.

Maybe itís because you didnít bring the beer, and you know that gives us license to make fun of you.

This thread is for you. Tell us why you like the show. Help us to understand. I honestly await your answers.

I even brung the brewskies.

I've never been able to sit through an entire episode, but the Vulcan chick is kinda hot.

Oh, and it's nice for Scott Bakula to get a steady paycheck.

When I was in college, my girl and I used to shag like rabid monkeys. That was TOS and the better TNG eps. When we were apart for some reason and I was lonely, I'd grip it and whip. That's Enterprise: a pale substitue, but can relieve pressure if so needed.

Sorry, I've never watched enough Enterprise to find anything I have actually liked... I'm not going to lie and pretend I wouldn't find something. Afterall, even I liked a few Voyager episodes.

I have no problem with the T&A. I applaud it actually. I think Phlox is a pretty decent character as well. Other than that, nothing.

Yeah, Porthos is the star of the show for me. He consistently brings his A game to the show, week after week when possible.

To be fair the SFX for Enterprise are really really good. Up to par with the movie Star Treks.

but that is about it. Everytime I think hey this is a decent plot. It ends up being plaigarized from some other late great Trek.

They really can have a good original plot. They just don't do it. I think they should open it up to the fans again and start accepting fan scripts.

I like the fact the have no holodeck, rarely use the transporter, and have already used spacesuits more than every other trek series and movie combined.

I like the cast. No one is annoying or overbearing. I especially like Dr. Phlox.

I like the overall design and the uniforms. Much more NASA/para-military than the T-shirts of TOS or the spandex of TNG.

I like the opening credits. There, I said it. I don't like the new version of the song though.

I also like Porthos.

My favorite episode was when Porthos defiled that sacred tree.

Summed up my feelings about Enterprise!

I am serious about Porthos!

I've owned 2 beagles in my life and they are wonderful pets!

Learn more about beagles!

Not in Denial!

Well, I readily admit that I watch it and enjoy it because it's my fix. I'm a trek addict.

I think it's unreasonable to think that between TOS, TNG etc that you can't find some similarity between each episode and some oldie moldie back there. The fact is, though, that it's new stuff and I'll continue to watch it as long as my tape machine can record it for later retrieval. Maybe.

Sign me: comfortable with my character defects.

My neighbor has a beagle, it has the weirdest baying noise! But otherwise a cute and admirable pooch. We shold all aspire to be as good as our dogs.

Some likes.

Agree with Jason. Oh, and they use ENVIRONMENT SUITS a lot. Still not enough.

I work in the enviro field: please explain to me why you would enter a derelict spaceship w/o an environment suit. Anyone? please?

I still think that they should have started without phasers and with some cool projectile weapons. Don't care that the stickhead had armor: a 9 mm slug would still throw them around nicely.

Like the Hoshi the linguist. She can be my cunning linguist any day.

Like the new marines. We need to give them some more time to kick ass.

Still don't know why Archer didn't put a bullet (coherent light pulse) in the blonde biatch's head, though.

Do like how Archer is honorable and tortured about it at the same time. Kind of like my relationship with burritos.

Like the idea about getting fan scripts again. It'll be made more difficult by the serialization of the plot.

We still love to bitch about this stuff.
