Night Flight was very cool at a time when there was not much at all to watch late at night.

I have a vivid memory of having a concussion and not being able to sleep and watching Night Flight, and always trying to find it on TV afterwards. Funny thing about that is I went and seen the premiere of Ghostbusters the same night. I remember it being on TBS for some reason and not USA, but I could be wrong.

In Chicago, Night Flight was broadcast on a local television station and I loved it. The only problem though was that they only played the first hour. Still, it was a great hour. That was where I was introduced to one of my favorite bands, The Pogues! Between this and The Son of Svengoolie playing classic horror films, I was in heaven. Too bad television sucks today.

Re: Anyone remember "Night Flight" on USA Network?
Anyone watching the new version of Night Flight on IFC? It's on late Friday nights. It's pretty short though, only 15 minutes. It looks like all the content is from the original show.

It had the same announcer chick that used to be the announcer on Night Flight too.

There's a streaming service for classic Night Flight episodes, music videos and cult movies.

BTW, Sven is on Sat nights on MeTV and every time I watch I wonder how they'll do his replacement or just end it and horror hosts will pass on into history. |

15 minutes is too short for those IFC shows.

Hard to believe there was a time when USA Network had some balls.
