and for next week, whats so special about having "music from REM?" it almost seemed like they were bragging about this.

Damn I missed the preview for next week. What is the story for next week?

*EDIT* Clark (Tom Welling) dreams he is being pursued by a frightened young girl who needs his help. However, after he discovers she is actually a comatose neighbor who should have woken up years ago, he enlists Lana's (Kristin Kreuk) help to uncover the truth - which puts Lana in grave danger. Meanwhile, Lionel (John Glover) demands that Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) undergo a full psychological evaluation before he hires him.
Allison Mack, Sam Jones III, Annette O'Toole and John Schneider also star. Terrence O'Hara directed the episode written by Drew Greenberg.

Much more descriptive than the preview I saw...

Spoiler:
Lana taking off her clothes ( ) and jumping into a lake, followed by an excited Clark

*gulp* -other- Any place I can legally download and view this? I didn't see it on the offical WB Smallville site.

Does "Smallville: Beginnings" that airs Sunday show a preview for the new Wednesday night episodes or the episode that is shown the following Sunday

More running in place. In fact, it's almost like the show is going in reverse. Watching is becoming more of a chore than an enjoyment. Grow ... evolve ... do something!

Being like Buffy is a good thing, and if they adopted a few more aspects from the Buffyverse the show would be a lot better.
You're telling it to the wrong guy. I hate Buffy. Ridiculous show in my opinion. Then again, I hated the movie Buffy. Smallville isn't perfect, but it's a fun show.

As for the website you posted as proof that Smallville's ripping off Buffy, the Smallville characters have been around a hell of a lot longer than Buffy has. Maybe the person who put that on that site should have been smart enough to realize that.

Finally watched this tonite.

Totally & utterly disgusted with it..

Do the writers even KNOW where they're headed with this show..?

The thing that annoyed me the most was the melting down of Kryptonite ROCKS over a CAMPFIRE..

Ugh.

As das pointed out, it's becoming a chore to watch this show. I don't know about you, but I don't find chores to be "fun".

And you're right..the Smallville characters have been around longer. However, Gough and Millar's interpretation hasn't.

I can just see a kung fu Lana action figure with judo kick action figure  . This episode seemed like it was from season 1. I guess they need a filler episode every now and then. I liked the hunter character and the kryptonite bullets it reminded of Kraven the Hunter from spiderman. The hunter character could have been more developed.

Just to clarify, there isn't any kicking or punching in judo. It's all throwing techniques, submission holds, and chokes. Thanks. :D

I was trying to refer to a judo kick like what Austin Powers always says

It's a chore to watch, but you somehow find a reason to keep on watching. Hey, if you don't like what you're seeing, don't watch the show. It's not perfect, but I enjoy the show.

Gotta watch a show to know whether you like it or not. You wouldn't want us to not watch it and then proclaim it's a ridiculous show that we hate, would you? In truth, I would have stopped watching already, but the second season showed enough promise to continue. I'll stick with the 3rd season to see if they do have a plan, and if not, then I'll ditch it.

Judo's most effective technique is yelling for help after the inevitable pummeling you receive after attempting to throw somebody.

That might be funny if it were true or if I wasn't a former judoka.
