Did anybody watch "The Handler" Premiere?

I meant to watch this but I got it's night confused. I thought it didn't come on until Sunday. I've liked almost everything Joey Pants has done and had some expectations for this show.

Anybody watch it? Any Opinions?

I watched it 2 or 3 months ago and it was pretty good from what I remember.

Wasn't bad at all. Cute chicks. Joey Pants. I'll tune in again. [while taping Boomtown]

I saw the show and enjoyed it. Will be tuning in each week.

I'd give it a thumbs up. Easily, One of the best new shows I have seen this fall. I liked how they set up what appears to be his crew for the up-coming season.

I thought it was pretty good, much better than I thought it was going to be.

spainlinx0 09-27-03 07:15 PM

I liked it, will definitely keep the season pass.

I taped it and watched it. It was better than I thought it would be. If I start watching it (which I probably will), I think it'll be the first regular CBS show I've watched since Tour of Duty.

I thought it was excellent. Joey Pants was a great casting choice for this. I'll be watching every week.

I liked it. I liked how they kept Joey moving around on different cases. I also liked how they showed the different stages of development as an agent. I just liked it. I will definitely keep watching.

I really liked this show. I'll keep watching it and tape BOOMTOWN. It was my first time watching BOOMTOWN, only reason I taped it, cause KELLY HU was on it. It was also a pretty good show.

I'll be taping this and "Boomtown". (I hate watching things live since I can't skip commercials! )

I thought it was a good episode, though it felt like they tried to cram a little too many subplots in there. I love Joe Pantoliano -- he's just fascinating to watch. (I'm STILL furious that his "EZ Streets" got cancelled several years back -- one of the best dramas in the last 10 years. )

Patman 09-28-03 07:11 PM

I thought it was okay, but I didn't feel compelled to watch it all season long for now.

Good show. I'll tape next week's and decide on whether or not it gets Season Pass status after that. ;)

Geofferson 09-29-03 09:15 AM

I thought it was fairly decent. I'll give it a few more weeks before I decide its fate (that is, unless CBS does before I do).

I finally watched this and WOW. I really liked it. I enjoyed it more than the Boomtown season premiere. I liked that show last season, but now it just seems like a watered-down cop show.

The Handler was unlike anything I have seen on TV before. Great premise and I love Joey Pants. Plus I loved the fast pace and all the surprises. The rest of the cast seemed good also.

I'll definitely keep watching. So far this is one of the best new shows I have seen of the season.

Now lets hope it can get moved off of death night to a nice spot (Though at this point, I'm hard pressed to find a spot in CBS's schedule where they can move it without it conflicting with either one of their current successful shows (which they won't move) or some other network's powerhouse show.

Red Dog 10-02-03 11:14 AM

Finally got around to watching this last night. Not bad. It ain't Boomtown, but not bad at all. Was a little too busy for my taste - going back and forth btwn 3 'cases' at once. I'll keep recording it.

I really enjoyed this show as well. Not a big Joey Pants fan, but this was pretty entertaining.

BTW, I think that both of these shows (Handler and Boomtown) were either created by Canadians, or people that have been working in Canadian TV for years
