And once again, I'm asking myself, WHY do I still watch this show? I just keep hoping it'll give me something worthwhile to watch, but all we get is this pathetic stuff. Uggh.

Why the move back to the "Star Trek" name? They made such a big fuss out of not being Trek, they getting desperate?

grunter 09-29-03 03:06 PM

You know, though.

As bland as it is, it still beat the pants of "Stargate:SG-1."

That's the slim hope that's keeping me going.

grunter, a coupla SG-1 episodes ago I might have issue with your statement. I usually find SG-1 equally as entertaining as your generic (pre Enterprise) Trek.

But lately I’m wondering if everybody is drinking from the same fetid watering hole.

mikehunt 09-29-03 03:47 PM

funny thing is, it was more related to trek in the beginning when they kept saying it wasn't
and now, after crapping on any continuity they could have had they put the trek name on it

Yeah, plots in recent eps of SG-1 have been pretty bad. But at least I still find some of the character interaction entertaining. I'm not sure ST:E can even qualify as entertaining any more in my book.

This was a horrible episode, which served only to provide Archer that viral-Ace-in-the-hole later in this current Xindi storyline. Yawn...
