Love this show. One of the few I make sure to catch every week (and even then I can see it On Deman and in HD).

It's probably a misunderstanding and the stabber just didn't want to hear one of his typically long-winded anecdotes. :)

:D
Has he ever been able to complete one of his stories before being interupped? I can't remember any.

Didn't see the story twist coming at all. Very emotional and proves that NCIS never pulls its punches.

Good episode. I always look forward to it when we can see more screen time for Jimmy and Ducky.

Can Tony and Ziva hook up already?

BTW the description in the spoilers do not seem to fit the ep they showed last night.

Funny subplot with McGhee's "online" girl friend and Tony's involvement.

Pretty graphic disembowlment tonight. Yuck.

Re: NCIS -- "Love and War" -- 1/27/09

Solid episode. I always feel a little sorry for McGhee when Tony pulls those type of tricks on him, but he and Ziva could have gotten back at Tony a little better IMO.

Wrt the description, I don't remember his position I thought it sounded right. They thought he was committing treason and selling some information with his "trips to nowhere", somehow stealing the drive with 'Keyhole' on it, and building some type of hacking device in the basement..... but it turned out he was just trying to get a green card and the murder had nothing to do with that stuff.

Pretty good episode. I did not see the ring part coming, but I knew that he wasn't stealing anything or commiting treason.

Mr. Palmer was MIA tonight.

Synopsis:

Spoiler:

The investigation into the death of a Marine leads the team into the middle of an inner-city gang war, forcing Gibbs to confront a secret from his past. Mike Franks: Muse Watson. Sgt. Vincente Medina: Kurt Caceres.

Good to know that Muse Watson is back as Mike again.

Was the vocal sound off the first few minutes?

Not for me.

Any episode with Mike Franks is one of my favorites. I have to say that Leon is so much more credible than Jenny.

The one

Spoiler:

Can't believe the foster mother wanted to steal the guns for the neighborhood kid.

two

Spoiler:

Gibbs assassinated the supposed husband of the woman who saved his life.

punch is the reason why NCIS just blows away all procedural shows. So many revelations in this episode.

Still at the top of our list of "watch while it's on" shows.

I also like Tony's one-liners and digs at McGee - last night he called him "McLovin" and "McMotherboard." They go by so fast it sometimes takes a minute or two to sink in.

That is certainly the case. And I like how they show the relationship between Mike and Jethro to mimic the relationship between DiNozzo and McGee.

Based on Leon and Gibb's description of the mission, I got the feeling

Spoiler:

Gibbs assassinated a nasty criminal who had previously raped the woman who saved his life.

But maybe you're right. I'll have to re-watch this sometime and pay closer attention.

NCIS has got to be one of the most consistently good shows on network TV. Does anyone know who the black lady that had her husband tied to the bed was? (The actress.) I've seen her in something before, but I couldn't place it.

She was the wife of the black guy on Jericho.
