Nice pic - I haven't seen that one.

I liked last weeks episode too.

I love that Ziva has a secret. It's killing Tony!!!

No love for the #3 show in the country?

Looks like Gibbs is starting to figure out who the mole really was. Wonder how long it was take?

DJariya 11-12-08 12:43 PM

I've started NCIS threads periodically, but I've noticed most procedural dramas don't seem to draw up much discussion. NCIS threads usually get 5 comments tops.

GradVT06 11-12-08 03:55 PM

I was about to post about NCIS that since the season premiere we haven't seen or heard ZIP about Agent Lee, even if it was just a small development or her happenning to just be in a scene.

So, naturally, she was in last night's episode with her plot given some development.

Placing Langer's picture on that memorial wall seems to indicate that he more than just suspects Lee. I think it's only a matter of how he's gonna get her now.

girlnextdoor 11-13-08 11:50 AM

I still think the new Director is up to no good too.

I'll help get it over 5

totally unrelated to the episode, but I wouldn't mind them bringing back someone from JAG for a guest appearance

cdoug57 11-13-08 10:41 PM

I believe that Jethro knows of Agent Lee's duplicity but is unable to drum up any proof other than his "gut" feeling.

I enjoyed this episode alot although I wasn't too crazy about the new recruit.

I liked how they brought back Agent Lee into the storyline and advanced the plot.

Yeah I knew he was only a guest star. I just thought he was a really boring character.

Synopsis:

Spoiler:

The team is forced to play a treacherous war game that brings a startling revelation to light.

Liza Lapira is back again as Agent Lee.

Sounds like in this episode:

Spoiler:

She gets discovered as the mole

GradVT06 11-19-08 09:37 AM

Good episode, but WTF with the ending?

I knew we really weren't supposed to think Abby had something to do w/ the mole- it was pretty obvious she handled/set up the trace isotope.... but are we REALLY supposed to think Gibbs is in it with Lee?

Jeeden 11-19-08 09:40 AM

No, I think that they need to find who she was passing the stuff to and in order to do that he will "join" her, making it more tempting for the bad guys to get more information and draw them out.

resinrats 11-19-08 10:36 AM

Hasn't it been over a year since Lee had started dating Palmer? If so, does that mean her 'kid' has been held hostage that long? Maybe she really was hot for him and it turned into an opportnity to steal sercrets for her.

Quatermass 11-19-08 11:20 AM

I thought the dialogue in the beginning was really hilarious, but I think they tried to get too "twisty" and the episode ended up being confusing, especially if (like me) you weren't paying 100% attention. I got the gist of it, but the whole "trap within a trap within a trap" was hard to follow.

Last new NCIS episode of 2008. Returns January 6th.

Quatermass 12-16-08 03:10 PM

Off-topic: was last week's episode new or a re-run? My local CBS station showed a Billy Graham special instead.

Jim 12-16-08 03:23 PM

I think last week's was a rerun - I didn't watch it because the TV listings said rerun. IIRC, it was an episode that centered on Jimmy Palmer from last year.

Correct, the one where he was the only one who could identify "the bad guy". Pretty funny ending to that episode.

Love this show. One of the few I make sure to catch every week (and even then I can see it On Deman and in HD).

It's probably a misunderstanding and the stabber just didn't want to hear one of his typically long-winded anecdotes. :)

Has he ever been able to complete one of his stories before being interupped? I can't remember any.

Didn't see the story twist coming at all. Very emotional and proves that NCIS never pulls its punches.

Re: NCIS -- "Love and War" -- 1/27/09

BTW the description in the spoilers do not seem to fit the ep they showed last night.

Funny subplot with McGhee's "online" girl friend and Tony's involvement.

Pretty graphic disembowlment tonight. Yuck.

GradVT06 01-28-09 08:38 AM

Re: NCIS -- "Love and War" -- 1/27/09

Solid episode. I always feel a little sorry for McGhee when Tony pulls those type of tricks on him, but he and Ziva could have gotten back at Tony a little better IMO.

Wrt the description, I don't remember his position I thought it sounded right. They thought he was committing treason and selling some information with his "trips to nowhere", somehow stealing the drive with 'Keyhole' on it, and building some type of hacking device in the basement..... but it turned out he was just trying to get a green card and the murder had nothing to do with that stuff.

girlnextdoor 01-28-09 10:39 AM

Re: NCIS -- "Love and War" -- 1/27/09

Pretty good episode. I did not see the ring part coming, but I knew that he wasn't stealing anything or commiting treason.

Mr. Palmer was MIA tonight.

Not for me.

Any episode with Mike Franks is one of my favorites. I have to say that Leon is so much more credible than Jenny.

The one

Spoiler:

Can't believe the foster mother wanted to steal the guns for the neighborhood kid.

two

Spoiler:

Gibbs assassinated the supposed husband of the woman who saved his life.

punch is the reason why NCIS just blows away all procedural shows. So many revelations in this episode.
