hahah wtf??? that was a weird ending lol

LorenzoL 11-24-05 04:12 AM

That was the "shocking" death that they hyping about??? It was just plain stupid.

However, they were some good stuff in this episode:

- Mary telling Delinda that she will be acting more like her and Sam and Delinda responding with "Superslutty?"
- Delinda "flashing" Danny
- The way Sam, Delinda and Mary looked in this episode.
- I didn't see anything wrong with Nadine Velasquez.
- The horrible rendition of "Come Sail Away".

movieking 11-24-05 09:54 AM

From what I read somewhere, I think that they find Monica's body

Spoiler:
in a shoe store window display

MrX 11-25-05 11:42 AM

I thought her flying off the roof was pretty funny

Nikki Cox should be required to wear that tank top every episode:drool:

mikehunt 11-27-05 01:35 PM

talk about jumping the shark
there was a shark somewhere on the ground that she flew over wasn't there? ;)

mikewendt and movieking, please spoilerize any talk about upcoming episodes. Movieking, part of your post gives away the plot for next week and isn't spoilerized. Thanks!

I liked this ep. I definitely don't think this show takes itself too seriously, and it definitely had some LOL moments. Sam and Delinda's banter was great. Loved that Ed seemed to be manipulating things from behind the scenes. The Green Phantom was even amusing. I really hope Monica is gone, even though her flying off the roof was a bit over the top, even for me. :)

Daniel-A 11-29-05 01:35 AM

What a great great episode. Seems like Lara Thin Boyle gets killed and everything is perfect once again. The episode was absolutely hilarious. Everything going on with Mike. And Delinda and the blind guy. Awesome.

Blind guy to Delinda: "You're tall..." Lucky SoB perv.

I still think the way she died was very lame, but her being dead greatest thing to happen to the show this season. I had thought she was a permanent addition not a guest appearance, so I'm guessing the writers actually did something the fans wanted.

I felt a bit sad for Casey at the end. I'm not sure that I'd want Sam as the owner. I like her coniving as the casino hostess extraordinaire. I do like Casey coming back. Him and Sam play very well off eachother.

So whatcha guys think is up with Mary? I'm assuming they were alluding to it by everyone calling her bossy. Just not so sure what she could be doing that would bring out the bossy. But more Mary on camera the better.

B.A. 11-29-05 06:23 AM

Casey didn't see that coming from a mile away?

Fitting ending for the LFB storyline. :yack:

I love the women on this show - although Nikki Cox is starting to look a little plastic in the face.

Just in the face? :hscratch:

Sam as half owner is kind of lame. I'm thinking it doesn't really work that way. But before Red Dog makes his "Mary sure looked good in HD" appearance, I thought I would add that at least Nevada is one of the nine community property states. ;)

Does the Montecito not provide good hospitalization coverage? :hscratch:

Those are real, and there FANTASTIC!

That is not the way to store 50 year old cigars, they would be dust by now, especially in Vegas.

The word is "SPECTACULAR". -ohbfrank-

I was assuming that this was some shipping thing and they had just arrived there from some humidity-rich, temperature controlled environment.

Like nit-picking this show makes sense. They lost all need to bother nitpicking when they used the surveillance camera to zoom in on the pill being slipped into the drink to read the writing on it for identification.

Spoiler:
Wasn't a character also supposed to be leaving by now??

Red Dog 11-29-05 09:06 AM

So what was the deal with the spoiler about these episodes that one person would die and another would never set foot in the Montecito again? I guess the 2nd part was a lie?

Good to see Danny go all-Ed on the bad guy.

Stu 17 11-29-05 09:32 AM

Well the person that died will never set foot in it again.

Y2K Falcon 11-29-05 10:04 AM

I went back and reviewed the tvguide spoiler guy's article from 11/9.

Question: Are two people going to die on Las Vegas? If so, is just one of them going to be a major character? — Jason

Ausiello: (SPOILER) One person will die and one person will never step foot in the Montecito again. And yes, one of those two people is a major character.
LFB could barely be accused of being a full person, much less 2.

Goldberg74 11-29-05 10:41 AM

Next week (according to the NBC site) could be setting up someone to leave:

Spoiler:
Down and Dirty (12/5; HD)

When a televised national poker tour comes to the Montecito Danny (Josh Duhamel) and Mike (James Lesure) have a hunch that someone is cheating so they investigate security footage despite protests from the show's producers. Meanwhile, Ed (James Caan) gets a little hot under the collar his wife Jillian (Cheryl Ladd) decides to visit and old flame. Elsewhere, upset with Casey's (Dean Cain) low divorce settlement offer, Sam (Vanessa Marcil) insists on half ownership of the casino but due to an out-of-state legal technicality, Casey withdraws his initial settlement offer and threatens to take her to court to keep everything. Molly Sims, Nikki Cox, Ron Jeremy TV-14

While drinking "lick-her"?

Bludvls33 11-29-05 10:30 PM

Perhaps Sam will be leaving after getting half the casino, or perhaps upset because she is shut out of the casino ownership in a nasty divorce...? Or maybe Mary is going somewhere to be a "boss". Those just seem like the logical two who may be leaving, character-wise.

MrX 11-29-05 11:00 PM

I thought it was good as well.

Liked Danny and Mike with the guy in the hospital. Danny using Ed's advice from earlier this season about acting first, asking questions later.

movieking 11-30-05 05:50 AM

Maybe the guy never to step foot in the casino again was Mary's (ex)boyfriend? It would be a big letdown spoiler-wise, but sometimes some of these sites overhype very minor things.

Xander 11-30-05 09:53 AM

Good ep. Except the Tivo description totally threw me off again. Something about "Mike leaves Danny to pursue a thug that assaulted him". Uh, what? Not really. Anyway, good stuff. I like Casey, and I think that he and Sam play off each other well. Glad LFB is gone and Ed is back. Horny Hospital Mike was pretty funny.

Yeah, I stopped nitpicking this show a LONG time ago. Too many holes. So now it's just fun TV for me. :)

JasonF 12-05-05 01:08 AM

NBC is airing back-to-back episodes of LV tomorrow. Is the first episode new, or is it a rerun of last week's? The commercial suggested new, TiVo says only the second episode is new. Anybody know?

Daniel-A 12-05-05 01:18 AM

TV Guide lists it as a repeat of last week's episode. I liked it but I don't think there is a need to replay it so soon.
