As I posted in the other "will it be rebroadcast because of the hurricane" thread:

"Premiere Rebroadcast! Sun., 9:30PM ET/PT"
according to www.cbs.com

Also, in about 10 minutes, a live chat with Nicole on the website as well.

Yeah. They've done this in the past, but this time it was even worse. The first team to the second part was clearing the path completely so that the second team through didn't have to do anything. I couldn't figure out any logic for doing it hte way they did.

I can not remember now, but do they always skip an award challenge on the first episode?

Ya, since it takes a little while for the introduction, twists, and such.

I thought the show was pretty good. Theres alot of annoying people though. Osten and Tijuana (can names get any stupider?) are annoying as hell and I hope they go soon. Those 2 meathead guys who think theyre in charge are stupid. Actually, this show seems to have ALOT of annoying people.

That first link you guys give about the Boy scout chick doesnt work for me. Can someone clue me in on what the deal is?

Also, what was happenng on the preview for next week? I just saw Rupert yelling or something. I couldnt hear what was going on.

By the way, Im going for Rupert or Ryan.

Those are my choices and Im sticking to them!

This was one of the best first survior episodes ever.

Like someone else says, this season will benefit cuz Pirates of the Carribean did so well in the theaters.

Rupert kinda reminds me of Captain Lou Albano. Plus him actin' like a pirate was HILARIOUS!!!

The guy that I can't stand most is Jon: He's an idiot. He'll get voted off soon cuz he already rubbed a lot of ppl the wrong way. He acted like a 5 year old.

No super hot girls this year. I guess Christa was the best of the bunch to me. She seemed really down to earth (like one of the guys almost).

Osten will make it to the merger then get voted off cuz he's obviously the strongest and most physically fit of the bunch so they'll need to drag him along for grunt work.

And Rupert got exhausted so fast cuz he was by far the most out-of-shape of the bunch.

What"s with that black dude loosing his underwear???

That blond computer programmer from Drake is cute but the minute she talks sheeesh!!..that nasal voice is dreadful!

That caveman/grizzly adams dude is hilarious!!..Looking forward to next week's show and his "call of the wild" fit.

Rupert's bio says he used to work as a grave digger. Why am I not surprised?

This guy is hilarous. I hope they keep him around, but I'm guessing he'll be too psycho and get the boot early on.

Of course, somehow Matt made it to the finals last season, so who knows...

POSSIBLE SPOILER

http://www.canoe.ca/JamSurvivorPearl...vivor-sun.html

According to the Toronto Sun:

Probst says Dalton, an art consultant from Virginia, takes the prize for "squirreliest" contestant ever. He's responsible for "the greatest lie ever told on Survivor," says Probst, who's heard a few whoppers.

It leads to the "biggest regret" and "the most dramatic, impactful twist yet," he says. Hey -- we thought Dalton told the biggest whopper. RRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I bet someone lies about some close friend or family member dying, and that their dying wish was for the person to win Survivor, and everyone falls for it. That's my guess

Jon Dalton is not an art consultant but maybe a pornographer?

The word you're looking for is "barista".
As in, "No way is that idiot with the hat not a barista..."

I haven't read this thread and not sure if anyone has mentioned anything like this but last night I was thinking, if I were in this game I would encourage the other members to help hide all of the food/supplies before every challenge. With the pirate theme you have to think that there will be a 'raid' on the other's camp at some point.

They did a raid on an earlier Survivor, but I don't remember which one.
