"The Nanny" on Lifetime
 

Oooh, the best show in the entire world. This is my most favoritest show of all time and Fran Drescher puts the sch in Drescher. Do any of you watch it, and if not, why not? Its classic humor, with Niles, CC, Maxwell and the three ditzy socialite kids. Kiss kiss.

Anyway, it's a classic show. I watched it a lot before it was cancelled and occasionally on reruns now.

I gotta agree with you. I cannot stand Fran D. Her voice is like finger nails on a chalkboard to me.

The show is also funny.

Why does lifetime get all the bad sitcoms? Caroline in the City, Golden Girls, Designing Women, and The Nanny. Ugh. They had a good thing going with Mad About You and then something went terribly wrong.

Fran is hot - thats about the extent of it. I honestly wish she was in a silent film - it'd be almost as good as a porno.

Actually thought it was funny for like a week of episodes then it got to the point were I realized she has a laugh that could make baby lambs cry.

Classic show

I find myself glued to the TV whenever I come across it, but I don't really make it a point to search it out. It can be very funny at times.
Fran is definitely the_hot, and don't tell me I'm the first to notice the older daughter who shares Fran's proclivity for mini skirts.



As for the Golden Girls, I watched this show religiously growing up. I think it explains a lot. I'll only watch it now if I catch one of Rose's St Olaf stories. Actually, I was watching one not too long ago, and the thought occured to me that, back in St Olaf, the teenaged Rose Nylan must have been quite the partner in games of hide the salami.

Caroline in the City was good. I watch it and Nanny sometimes on 'that' channel. Watch out though I think Suddenly Snoooozin' is coming to Lifetime.

My girlfriend never turns off the TV from when this damn show and The Golden Girls are on.

So I have to thank both shows for giving me a time of rest and peace :thumbsup: :)

But The Nanny is dreck.

My g/f will turn it on from time to time....it's not that bad.

YEah I'll pause on the channel when surfing if I see Fran in some hot outfit. Other than that, I can't watch it. But I'd sure love to have her as my nanny. :eyebrow:
