"A Cook"
Yep, another winning episode.
That website/livecam that Doloris ran was really creepy. That woman's got issues!
George probably did the right thing passing JD to her family.
Rube is a pretty complex character at time, the focus on him as a fill-in cook was good.
Mason...didn't need to see/smell that British flag on his butt...
Daisy's self-confidence is probably her only lovable quality, but she's got plenty of it.

I've caught this show twice while staying in hotels on trips and thought it was great. I hope it comes out on DVD after the season is done, or Showtime starts putting on some better shows to complement it.

Patman,
Answer a question for me...
I have never seen an episode of this series, but "heard" that after the pilot and the second episode the quality dropped dramatically.
Did you notice anything like that? Agree? Disagree?

I think the writers got stuck in how to resolve George's affinity toward her family, and it took about 3-4 episodes (weeks) for George to sort out her new undead life as a grim reaper, and not yearn for her old family life. I think the show's been very entertaining once we got past those initial episodes.

I think the 2nd show in particular disappointed people because it didn't cover much new territory, and the pilot was excellent. Now they are starting to mix in the other characters a little more instead of just focusing on George, it's gotten better.

I didn't find out about this show until a couple weeks ago, but I went and grabbed the first 6 episodes offline and watched them the last couple days. Definitely a lot of fun and I'm enjoying where they're going with it.

The first episode was great, then they dragged for the next few. But after that it seemed they hit their stride, because I've really enjoyed the show so far. My only real gripe is they should of giving them a few more powers, their Reapers nothing should stay the hand of Death. But I have a feeling a deadbolt would stymie George for a whole episode
