VH1 has realized that there's money to be made in 80s reminiscing. They recently had a meeting with a friend of mine who runs a popular pop culture website that specializes in 80s fare.

If they just covered the events, shows, movies, etc., it would be a great trip down memory lane. Now it's just as a setup for some lame joke or mockery from one of these tools. At least get input from people who have something to do with the thing they're commenting on. Oh no, I guess it's better to have Hal Sparks make one of his three funny faces coupled with a sarcastic comment after each segment.

Michael Ian Black is the man. When he took the shrinky dink, put it in his pocket and said "It's like, hey man, where's my shrinky dink?" I busted up laughing and felt like The State was back.

Since my vision is less than spectacular, I can't usually read the small text under people's names on the show. That's fine because I know who Michael Ian Black is, or who Hal Sparks is, but I don't know who the bald guy with the long beard is. Is he in a band or something? I should just wait until they air an episode again and just sit right in front of the TV to find out, but it's too much effort.
