Most emotional moment in MOVIE animated history?

Ok - I'll admit that TV animated history seems a bit sparse on emotion. I was a big astro boy fan, and loved cartoons in the 1960s, 70s, and up through today, but EMOTION? Not really.

I mean, I loved the Flintstones, and they had some emotional bits, but even todays TV animation is a bit sparse on emotional bits.

But MOVIE animation has a bit more. I'll hold back on mine, but of course GRAVE OF THE FIREFLIES can tear anybody up.

Others?

When Ash gets turned into stone by Mewtwo and Pikachu cries, thus bringing him back to life.

Uh...I mean, the scene where Bambi's mother dies. Yeah. Sad stuff, man.

I think it's a tie between Bambi's mom and Optimus Prime. Both moments reduce me to tears everytime.

Another vote for Iron Giant. I've had to have seen the movie at least ten times by now, but that part at the end still gets me.

the movie is about 20 years old. that's like saying that Darth Vader was Luke's father.
