The most screentime Hank and Dean have had so far had plenty to do with it.

This one fell kind of flat for me. It wasn't terrible by any means, but the whole thing was kind of blah. Of course, that may have been what they were going for, since Sgt. Hatred's party sucked so bad, and they wanted to transfer that feeling to the viewers.

Definitely one of my least favorites of the series.

Dr. Girlfriend not knowing who Jackie O. is, the Monarch being Mark Knopfler, Sgt. Hatred's militia-man basement -- that party was awesome.

Great episode. I'd probably rank it just below "The Doctor is Sin" as favorite of the season, though.

I loved the Monarch being shocked that Dr. Girlfriend, with her 3 pack a day voice, smoked.

Now that was the first completely great episode of the season. Dr. Zinn, Dean & Triana, Dean going berserk, Brock barely controlled rage, and a nice twist at the end.

I'm with this guy. Hilarious!! Loved seeing Johnny again and Sgt. Hatred freaking out about all the kids had me rolling.

My recording glitched as Dermott was getting into his mom's car and I missed some dialog. Did they confirm that he's Brock's bastard son?

While it was a great episode, I thought this was the weakest of the season so far, and I called that "twist" the second that kid showed up.

BTW, does the audio on this show kinda weird to anyone else? It's like the background music, the sound effects and the dialog haven't been mixed properly or something.

It was definitely better than last week, but I just wish they would get back to having some actual adventures. I'm tired of the "standing around and chatting" type of shows. It's like watching the old yard sale episode every week.

No, his mom just asks, "Did you meet your father?" and he says something like, "Yeah, he's all right I guess." Could be Brock, could be Johnny Quest, could Sgt. Hatred. He could even be Hank's son if cloning or time travel are involved.

The Venture Bros. --- "Dr. Quymn, Medicine Woman" --- 7/7/08

Airs at 11:30 p.m. EDT on Adult Swim. Or, you can see it now via streaming video at Adult Swim.

Spoiler:
Love is in the air, kind of, when Dr. Venture encounters his childhood friend, Dr. Tara Quymn, in the Amazon Rain Forest. But while Rusty puts the moves on his old play date, Hank makes play for Dr. Quymn's twin daughters, Nancy and Drew, who in turn, only have eyes for Dean. And the Quymn's bodyguard, Ginnie, is hot for Brock. Maybe. But all their romantic interludes will have to be put aside when terror of the Wereodile threatens their camp.

Wow, so many hilarious Hank and Dean shenanigans! Nancy and Drew need to come back for another episode.

"So where have you been?" "Oh nowhere, just getting my ass handed to me by a f**king gorilla!"

Yeah, that was a great episode. I wonder what the shirt of the week will be. The other episodes I was able to guess off the bat. But with this one.. I have no idea. Maybe a boxing gorilla related shirt?

So anyone think that Dr. Venture and and Quymn are related? They look alike, we know that twins are common in the Venture family (Rusty and Jonas, Hank and Dean, so maybe Nancy and Drew too), and the mirroring of their families (and jets) was hammered throughout the episode. Plus it seems unlikely that Colonel Gentleman is the father of anyone's kids.

Maybe that's why Dr. Venture was huddled in a fetal position at the end of the episode -- he realized that he nearly boned his sister?

Yeah, something about her being an epileptic may have informed him about that.
