The Rob twist is going to be great, and I can't believe that Vic didn't hold out for more $$$ either. Vic was the funniest guy in the house, this show will miss his commentary. I think he took the cash because Erin had said previously that he was too young for her and that killed his confidence in making the final pairing.

Red Dog 08-05-03 09:52 AM

You know - I recorded this last night just to see the bribery attempts. That guy was a fool for taking 10-large. The host specifically said that they would 'start out with 10-large.' He should have known that he could have gotten more.

BDLOU 08-05-03 09:55 AM

Well his reasoning was that he didn't do it for the money. He did it because he know she had a better connection with other guys. He couldn't use that excuse if he would have held out for more. For some reason I belive him on this too. He seemed like an honest guy.

Maybe never having watched a single episode of reality TV is required to get on the show, he's a moron... -ohbfrank-

I thought Rob zombie did not lose his job until the show aired, and his firm saw him in his drunken state (Ep.2?). So it's possible he was still employeed at that time.

We're talking about the here and now. (Doesn't anyone know how to spot a reference to Princess Bride anymore?)

Have the DVD, still haven't opened it. :(

Patman 08-05-03 01:09 PM

tsk! tsk!

Cheddarmuff 08-05-03 03:11 PM

Vic was probably worried that someone else would go for the $$$ and he didn't want to miss out...

shanester 08-05-03 03:30 PM

Personally I think Erin is cute but not drop dead gorgeous. Plus she has no cleavage..Sorry I'm shallow I know..

If I had the choice over her or the $2 million..Id' take the money for sure..

Paige on the other hand I dug totally because she was very passionate and gave all of herself to that dufus Rob..

Yeah but $2M (even at PV) can buy some very nice cleavage. ;)

Patman 08-05-03 05:20 PM

Not on Erin's frame, I'm afraid.

What a lame filler episode. Here's who got the boot:

Greg, who didn't even have a date at this segment in time, and he called her on it when she only spent time with Wade and the other guy that wasn't Eric or Greg (you can tell my interest in the contestants is pretty lacking). And now Rob is back to stir stuff up. It appears that he is not going to say anything about the money because there's some stipulation that he can't if he's to have a second chance to win Erin's heart (fat chance).

Jackskeleton 08-12-03 12:09 AM

wow.. I tuned into this crap to be $#$ teased for an hour. Boooo!

mookiemeister 08-12-03 01:05 AM

Rob is back. It would be cool to have those two finally get together at the end. I wonder if Erin pick Rob, will Rob do the same to Erin and backstab her?

Patman 08-12-03 07:25 AM

Why would a guy want a girl who picked money over him?

 I know. I haven't been watching FLOM2, but I recorded it last night to catch Rob's re-introduction. Thank goodness I recorded it otherwise I would have wasted an hour.

The best part of the show was when Greg called her on the lack of dates, when she was giving him her excuse. That was great of him to get that little quip in there. She should have just said there was no connection w/ him like she was talking about a couple of weeks ago.

I think it's funny that they brought Rob back, but I don't want to have to hear him talk anymore (mumble this, mumble that).

shanester 08-12-03 05:04 PM

Is it me or doesn't Eric remind you of a younger Donny Osmond

"And they called it Puppy Love"..:D

chowderhead 08-26-03 01:03 AM

Rob is gone. It would have been a GREAT finale if it was a choice between so-called potential love if she picked Chad or the 2 million dollars by picking Rob. Would she take a chance at love by selecting Chad? I dunno.
I really hope that Erin's intentions are good but she seems to mention the 2 million dollars constantly.

What' s up with Erin's friend mentioning that Chad is just another typical guy from San Francisco. A typical guy from San Francisco would probably not be into Erin - but more into Boy meets Boy :)

Patman 08-26-03 08:16 AM

That's it! You nailed the $1million twist! Chad is gay!!! :)

OldDude 08-26-03 02:19 PM

Next week is 2 hour finale, some kind of FLOM-I reunion, then final selection. Wiil Erin choose Chad for whom she has hots, or Wade who she is sure will pick her over money? Will I watch it, or record it so I can FF over crappy parts? B, B, B, I know the answer to the 2nd question. This is so much worse than original you have to be having an extremely boring Monday evening to watch - last night I was, but I though about pushing "quick record" and going to bed.

mookiemeister 08-26-03 03:56 PM

I have a feeling Erin will pick Wade and get the 2 million instead of picking Chad who she's more attracted to, but will loose the money. It's the same dilemma Rob was in FLOM1. He had to pick between Paige who he's not as attracted to but who will pick him and so he will win $1 million. Versus, picking Erin who he's more attacted to but know that she will pick money over him.

I think Erin will be greedy and pick Wade and win the $2 million, then dump Wade later. She already dumped Rob twice, once in the 1st installment, and 2nd time last week's episode. I feel bad for Rob for being dumped twice on national TV.

Decker 08-26-03 05:05 PM

I will never, ever feel sorry for Rob. That guy is slimey. Besides, if you ask a girl out to the Junior Prom and she turns you down, would you hide out for a year and then ask her to the Senior Prom? If you do, maybe you're a hopeless romantic, but more than likely, you're just hopeless.

Alright, I agree with you that Rob shouldn't even bother trying to win Erin's heart the second time. She already made up her mind when she dumped him in FLOM1, so there is no reason why she would all-of-sudden change her mind about him in FLOM2. He was asking to be dumped the 2nd time when he appear in FLOM2.
