Anyone remember this commercial?

It played around 1990 and had a real talking dog (not special effects), someone trained their dog to say "I Wuv You". Trying to remember what company this commercial was for, for a script I'm working on.
Can you help?
Thanks...

It was on America's Funniest Home Videos, but some company might have turned it into a commercial.

Was this the ad with the old lady staring in bewilderment at the dog when he "spoke"? If so, I think it was a Little Caesar's Pizza commercial.

The talking dog has been used in a lot of things, the Little Caeser commercial was one. I believe the Beastie Boys sampled it at the beginning of a song too, I can't remember which one though. I want to say Sure Shot. I know there have been other promos/commercials that have used it too.

When Homer tries to sell Santa's Little Helper, he says he can say "I love you" on command, Homer then says the "I ruv roo!" into the phone, pretending to be the dog.

Can anyone else confirm the Funniest Home Videos link?

Not sure about "Funniest Home Videos." I could swear I saw that dog years ago on the show "That's Incredible." But yes, I am certain I later saw him in a Little Caesar's commercial and thought to myself, "That's the dog I saw on TV!"

I can't remember the product it was for, but the one I remember with that dog had a guy with a moustache that said, "That's nothing! I taught my dog to say 'I love you'."

And then the dog says it. They advertize their product some more and right before they cut, they show the dog repeating that.
