Amazing Race-LEG 5 (6/26)

One thing that I've observed... whenever a team gets a fast forward, in the next episode, they either barely avoid elimination or get eliminated. Is the Fast Forwards cursed this race?

On the next episode of The Amazing Race:
Spoiler:
You Are Just Deliberately Trying to Make Us Lose!
From Dish: A team's personal relationship becomes strained; a team contemplates quitting after accusations sabotage. (sic)

* Amid a stream of bitter accusations of sabotage, Tian & Jaree face a complete breakdown and contemplate quitting.
* A series of difficult circumstances forces another couple to face the possibility that they may be incompatible, raising the stakes not only for the Race, but for their entire relationship.
* A 15-foot pile of cow manure plunges Teams waist-deep in excrement!
* Desperate to make a flight, two Teams have only one hour to drive between airports. When they hit traffic, their plans, and possibly their future in the Race, hit a brick wall.

I say Kelly and Jon. She always seems to make some choice that slows them down somehow.

Yes, but now that she has been in the race car, which is similar to a female orgasm, she ought to be good for a week and the other idiot in their duo can make all of the decisions.

I'm sticking with Steve and Dave. Gotta run out of luck something. Since the preview focused on
Spoiler:
Tian & Jaree
, I don't think it'll be them.

I'm going to keep betting on the BFG's until they are eliminated. They are basically coasting through on other teams mistakes.

I agree. It can't last much longer and it won't.

I think David and Jeff will be, I don't watch the coming next week stuff, but they are just too out of it.

At this point I find myself rooting for T&J or Team NFL, I like the fact that both monica and sheree are fit, and can run as well if not better than anyone else.

BFGs. If it's anything physical these guys are gone.

Steve and Dave are not as physically fit. They have some problem keeping up in many of the challenges. I think they will be the one to get eliminated next. Also, they already used up their fast forward, so no more jumping ahead.

Now that one of the two teams I wanted out is gone. I have to go with BFG again.
I voted for them for Leg 4, but was glad to see Weezer and Geezer go.

Maybe we should start calling the BFGs the Bumblebee team.

The bumblebee has a fat body and short wings, and therefore shouldn't be able to fly, and yet it does!

With that in mind I voted for Katty Kelly and Jon this week.

The Supremes have really steped it up a notch over the rest of the teams. They seemed like the Fireman/Cop duo from last year for the first 2 episodes, but they completely turned it around.

I voted for the BFG's yet again, but I'll probably be wrong again. Team Bar Whores doesn't look too happy this week.

I'm still pulling for the Clowns.

At this point, I don't find any of the teams likable. I guess that I am supposed to like the clown team, but all of the teams are so boring that I still can't tell the male/female teams apart.

OMG! This was one of the funniest episodes yet!

Classic lines/appellations:

...and I shall call her: "Millie Mole"!

"You're such a dumbass!"

"Holy Shhh...pooh!"

Did one guy say that the eels were like wet penises, or something like that?

hmm. I still have no idea who david and jeff are.

Fast forwards seem to be used out of conveniance, rather than necessity. I wonder if this is intimidating those who really need them to find out if the FF has been used already.

Poo or cheese, which would you pick? I found it funny that it was men teams who found dealiong with manure distasteful, and all the women got down and dirty.

Now this was the best episode yet by far - no re-groupings.

Do these people have any idea about flights before they get to an airport? Schedules? How many tickets are available to them at each counter? Can they go to any airline? The only reason I ask is that when I heard that they were flying to Amsterdam, I presumed that they would shoot for a KLM flight since Amsterdam is likely a KLM hub and thus probably has daily non-stops to and from Marseilles.

Yeah - is it just a coincidence that this has not happened yet.
