40:35 from start to finish. That's an odd number.

I’m confused by all the backstory, wondering if maybe this was a second pilot? Different opening sequence (I think all the reaper types was a bit over the top), lotsa background that we didn’t need…

I think the bit with the sister collecting all the toilet seats is funny – if they don’t take it too far.

Spoiler:
The guy getting run over by the metermaid was inspired.

I’m liking it so far. But I can’t see it going anywhere.

Second episode was alright, but I agree it was too much of a reintroduction. I hope that they don't have her go through that intro in every episode. After watching the metermaid give that guy a ticket I wanted her to die again! :P

I'm still confused by the whole metaphysical "undead" aspect of it. I know the first episode had George
Spoiler:
disappearing when she released the soul of the little girl
but since then nothing of the sort has happened. Everyone that's human just "leaves the room", and all I want to know is do they disappear when they release a soul or not?

(Perhaps I'm looking too far in this manner, but I'm a bit confused by some of the rules in this show).

Just bumping this up so that people can try to convince me to "blind buy" the first season box set on 5/4.

Supreme greatness? Worth getting? More of an 'eh, I'll watch it once' sort of thing?

As with so many things, it depends on your tastes.

I liked the show, but don't have plans to buy.

Is a new season coming out any time soon?

I'd rent a disc or two first and see what you think. It got better as the season progressed, but it was slow starting.
