FOX IQ Show on Monday Night

Is this just supposed to be a test that you take along with the show, and at the end you find out you IQ? If so, how accurate can this possibly be? And even more importantly, how entertaining?

Don't IQ tests just test stupid things like how long it takes you to put blocks together? You can't test stupidity. You just have to look at see it. Like TNN, LOOK! you don't need a test for that.

Yes mods, me bad, because this is cross-posted, but there is no discussion of the TV show going on in other thread, only an online test.

From http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...readid=297800, where I posted:
Fox has a "test the nation" IQ test on tonight (8 Eastern). Viewers can fill out a scorecard as they go, or participate online (you must sign on before show starts). They claim the results will be normailzed. Only viwers who participate online will count in results (averages, not indivuals) by the end of the show. Here's a link. Oh, yeah, turn your sound card off or down, there is a very annoying beeping track, but no audio content.

When I visited England last Christmas, they aired this special, but obviously a British version. Looks like Fox is looking for any scraps that are left from the reality show slaughter of the old country.

Mine let me in, but it took a while. What idiots. I wonder how they'd score on an IQ test.

These are long and hard. Not much time to read, let along memorize. Didn't do great on that round...

Nope.. that memorization part was rough.. I think I got 1 correct.. but guess I'll see at the end. I am writing down all my answers since the online test didn't work.

The shapes section was the toughest for me so far. I've always hated questions like that on tests. Luckily, the numbers were easier - I think I got all those.

And the definitions at the beginning weren't great, either. I'm a science major. Vocabulary isn't my thing.

I thought the math sequence was WAY TOO EASY, I couldn't have missed one.
And the memorizing was easy for me as well.

I suck at the definitions at the beginning, too quick for me!
