Still watching the World Poker Tour on the Travel Channel?

Great stuff. Last night the Celebrity Invitational Tournament was shown.

Spoilerized in case you haven't gotten around to seeing it yet.

Spoiler:
Some of the celebrities that played were
Mickey Rooney - Did very well, I think they mentioned he just missed being at the final table.
Norm MacDonald - First eliminated, but he didn't seem to mind.
Lou Diamond Phillips
Kato Kaelin - God, is this guy still hanging around?
Dom Deluise
Debbie Reynolds
Meatloaf
Gabe Kaplan - Of course.
Dick Van Patten - Ditto.
Vince Van Patten - Didn't make the cut, so he continued as host.
Don Cheadle
Sarah Silverman - Annoying, as usual.

The only non-pro to make the final table was Jerry Buss, owner of the Lakers. At times it seemed like he was in over his head but he came in second to Layne Flack, who could not be stopped. Flack came into the finals with almost a 10 to 1 chip lead over everyone else. A cool hundred grand to the winner, plus an automatic spot in the World Series of Poker.

Honk!

Spoiler:
It was a decent episode but there was really no way of stopping Lance but it was kind of funny how outplayed Jerry was towards the end. You do have to give him credit for taking second though. Rookie mistake flipping over his cards before Lance had folded.

Awesome show. I haven't watched last night's episode yet (it's still waiting for me on TiVo).

Was the show always 2 hours long? I could swear that it used to be 3 hours long...

It was a good episode. I like to watch to pick up the lingo.

Yup. Watching it every week. Fun stuff. They replay it on Saturday mornings too.
