I know this is a tangent, but TBS is showing "Son-In-Law" and I had forgotten that Carla Gugino was the female lead in this movie. Plus she dyed her hair blonde for the part. I had a hard time imaging Carla in her college days (especially after seeing her as the tough federal marshall on "Karen Sisco").

You know, I have always liked that movie despite the fact that its a Pauly Shore vehicle. I think one of the reasons why I always liked it was because Carla Gugino was so likeable in it.

Anyway, back on subject (sorta), I was glad to see Gugino in this again. It had been 10 years since I saw this one and never knew who she was back then. I can't believe how much she's aged. I mean, she just looks more "grown up" now. She's not old by any stretch, being in her early 30's... but she looked so much younger then. I guess that's probably stating the obvious, but it was just weird to me.

How disappointing - yet another horrible decision made by Eisner-led disney. While I am not as upset about this show as I am about Angel and Farscape, I did enjoy it and will miss it.
I will happily watch the three unaired episodes - finally a network steps up to air the unaired episodes - thank you USA. I have wanted some network to do this for every show I ever watched that was cancelled with unaired eps - it seems to me that even if it has to be at 10pm-midnight there has got to be some time when it would be profitable to air such episodes, if only for the fans' loyalty.

Sometimes they show up in the rerun package. There are about a dozen episodes of Ned and Stacey that Fox never aired that were seen only when it was rerun on USA (and now on Oxygen!).
How many Karen eps does that make, total? 8?
What a horribly mistreated show.
Oh well...time for Cajun Cooking with Evan Marriott.

USA Network still has "Karen Sisco" reruns airing late night on Tuesday, so there's still a chance that "Dog Day Sisco" (and the other unaired episodes) will be re-aired. If the episodes are shown in order on Tuesdays, last night's episode would re-air the evening of May 4.
It would be really nice if the ratings on USA Network were good enough to inspire the network to revive the show as a short run series like "Monk".

If they haven't already picked it up, the chances of keeping the show are slim to none - no doubt all the actors/production crew have moved on to other jobs.
Re: Dog Day Sisco. Pretty good. The opening felt forced - I think it would have worked better as a flashback.

It's too bad, the show was fairly decent. They should have played it as a lead in or lead out of Alias. Two asskicking government chicks in the same night would have been great. ABC should have lost The Practice a while ago and moved this into that slot.
