PBS Warrior Challenge: Anybody watch?
Here, it comes on Tuesday at 9:0 pm, after JAG. But different PBS stations have different schedules.
They try to recreate the training and lifestyle of ancient warriors.
Last week was Roman auxiliaries (like the legion, but foreigners who sign up to garrison posts in Roman provinces). Tonight is knights, in armor, jousting and sword fighting.
Unlike movies it is made as realistic as possible, but only to the point of training drills, not real combat, to avoid serious injury. Last week was pretty interesting (but it might be that I had Latin in high school over 40 years ago, and enjoyed Caesar's Commentaries on the Gallic Wars)

I wanted to see this but I missed it. I saw the last half hour of the Roman episode and thought it was good. I imagine the knights one would be too, did you catch it?
