The farmer didn't say much but his signature line was "That'll do, Pig."

I think there was a Gilmore Girls episode that used that as a title.

Not only that, but he invented the warp drive.

And MrN, I agree with you about "the dreams". When Lisa came home, I said immediately, "He's dreaming". That needs to stop.
but when the preview showed that didn't it also show
Spoiler:
nate fighting with brenda while wearing his sweaty jogging clothes?

also about the dreams, i also never thought it was real and agree that they need to lay off that gimmick a little

BTW, i feel that the new development with clair seems very forced. i don't think they need to explore this angle when there's already so much going on with her right now. i hope it doesn't pan out.

Anyone notice that the song at the end while nate was sitting in the car was "I Saw the Light" by Todd Rundgren? perhaps a bit of significance there as well?

From the start of the season, I thought this whole season is just Nate's imagination, and I'm sort of hoping it still is.

But it'd be like what TNT did on the first season of Witchblade.

Would have been even funnier if Cromwell hooked up with Ruth's sister, played by Patricia Clarkson who just starred in a film called The Baroness and the Pig.

Excellent episode. Too bad the re-broadcast tonight on HBO2 wasn't widescreen

I don't really think that Nate has been dreaming this whole season. Other than the flashbacks he had in the premier, there really hasn't been anything that indicated that anything was out of the ordinary, at least to me. I think he was jogging just to relieve some of the stress.

Does anyone else think that
Spoiler:
Claire calls on Brenda to take her to an abortion clinic? That's my guess.

I was thinking, what if Claire has a boy...

Then in the first episode of the season we see Brenda going up the stairs of the house with what many thought was a boy baby.

So now that part of the show would finally come full circle. Just a thought.

Gil Grissom would have a heart attack....

Great episode.

Lauren Ambrose is impressing me more and more with her acting skills every week.

Nate was better than ever.

I can't stand Keith. David really needs to drop him. Keith CANNOT handle a relationship. But when David is gone he comes crawling like a baby.

Just 2 cents to say I loved the episode, too.

I can't really believe this whole season is a dream, but maybe it is. Or maybe some compromise-- Nate has been 'dreaming', but in his coma his family has been telling him what's been going on, so much of what relates to David, Claire, Ruth, Rico, and Brenda is real. Oh, and Arthur is a fabrication. Or Nate's doctor. Anything like that would blow my mind, and leave me a bit peeved.

The only thing I'm bummed about is Claire's pregnancy-- a classic plot contrivance.

Excellent catch on the Lady Vanishes reference-- I'm bummed I missed it!

James Cromwell rules, boyo.

It is ironic that the cops are so dismissive of Nate, what with the Laci Peterson story in the news. I thought it was interesting that the cop said something like "I can tell you're distraught."

I guess if he didn't act distraught, then they'd probably be more interested in the case and treating Nate like a murder suspect.

Not sure if that was a joke. The Ace awards have not been held in years. They correctly felt that cable TV is as good or better than network TV and they should be able to compete with the Emmy on a level playing field (which they do). Now why don't the Independent Spirit Awards feel that way?

BTW: The Emmy race should be VERY interesting this year. TWO seasons of 6FU will be eligeble because they both will be during the one year eligibility period. I don't know if that has ever happened to a contender before. I don't know what they'll do about that. There should be a lot of Sopranos / 6FU battles this year, but Gandolfini vs Krause will certainly be the most interesting. Also neither show has ever won Best Drama. If The West Wing wins again, I'll

One other question-- why doesn't Lisa's sister appear to be more upset? Because she knows Lisa is OK? Or because they want the show to focus on Nate?

Because they reward quality, which the Oscars don't. At least not always.

We'll have to wait an extra week for the finale...

I was just looking around on the HBO site, and I noticed that there won't be an episode on 5/25. The finale, I'M SORRY, I'M LOST, (make what you will of that title), won't premier until 6/1........

SFU news:Rain Wilson (Arthur Martin) to join ABC midseason comedy pilot

Rain Wilson (Arthur Martin) has joined the cast of the ABC midseaon comedy pilot of "Slice o' Life" with Janeane Garofalo. Wilson has also obtained the lead role in Mario Van Peebles independent film "Gettin' The Man's Foot Outta Your Ass and Other Life Lesson's.

So this makes it look like he won't be back, don't know if this helps the whole Nate is dead theory or not but I'm excited to hear Janeane Garofalo is getting a show.

Anyone know if they plan to reair the season or not? The Complete schedule for the show ends 6/8 with the reairing of the finale....

Bummed to hear they are pushing the finale back a week, have to wonder why they'd do that.... Odd thing is they are reairing next Sundays episdode the following sunday then doing the finale the week after.....

Well, perhaps, James Cromwell will be playing a bigger part in next season on 6FU then...
