Even the intro was in clay! This is great!

Mopower 05-15-03 11:40 PM

Can't wait to see the Clay-Mr. T.

ClarkKentKY 05-15-03 11:43 PM

The clay intro was great.

Is this the episode where MR T and Conan go apple picking?

Clay Mr. T and Conan doing "In the year 2000" = Comedy Gold!

Mopower 05-15-03 11:50 PM

The scene from Jackass was awsome.

ClarkKentKY 05-15-03 11:55 PM

I'm sad that its a rerun, i've seen this show like 3 times.

I was hoping for live claymation ;)

These jackass clips are great!

MrX 05-15-03 11:57 PM

the bowling alley scene from Jackass was awesome

das Monkey 05-16-03 12:56 AM

Well, that was unique ...

My favorite part was the claymation version of him running at the camera during his monologue.

T rules.

Agreed. It was unique.

Unfortunately, like ClarkKentKY said, i've seen this ep godknowshowmanytimes.. [when it originally aired...NBC's "All Nite" week later repeat...Comedy Central repeat..Monday Night repeat...then NBC's "All Nite" repeat of that..]

So...I was kinda hoping for some fresh material...

But Conan still gets a BIG, HEARTY

[Oh...and could anyone tell me if the Friends season finale ended like T said it would..;)]

GuessWho 05-16-03 09:00 AM

I was disappointed.

I was hoping that they'd take a cue from SNL's "TV Funhouse: Fun With Real Audio" and make the images more wacky while keeping the audio 100% authentic.

However, all we got was a clay version of exactly what happened.

I was bored 10 minutes into it. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

TheMadMonk 05-16-03 09:40 AM

I also was disappointed in it. Sure, it was a neat idea, and I'm glad they tried it once, but I don't see a need to do it again. It actually hurt my eyes a bit, with the the jerkiness of the low frames per second.

For people who fell asleep and forgot to set ReplayTV (like... well, me) -- don't forget that Comedy Central replays last night's Conan tonight.

ChefWinduAZ 05-16-03 10:10 AM

And they replay it again Monday afternoon.

nny 05-16-03 02:43 PM

Also don't forget that comedy central has changed up their schedule. Conan is on 6:30/5:30 central and at noon/11 central now.

Good one - I almost missed that at first. Made me think of the Simpsons:

"No, Homer. Very few cartoons are broadcast live - it's a terrible strain on the animators' wrists."

Agree - cool idea, but it got zzz very fast. Would have been a neat segment or something, but a whole show was overdoing it - especially when they didnt juice it up somehow.
