Lucky 5/6

Pretty good episode last night.

Enjoyed Alex Rocco's guest role.

It was okay. Probably my least favorite one so far.

Thought it was a decent episode. I miss the bologne though... :)

Doh! I missed it, had some work to do!!! grrrrr.

I love Lucky, its a great show. I caught the 'meat wars' episode the other day, it was brilliant!

i wish they would show the older episode before the new one in case i missed the last one (which i have done before)...so i have to tape the first, watch the 2nd then watch the tape. kinda annoying.

but good ep again. i wish there were more poker scenes though.

I never watch the show live so if I miss an episdode (which I did last week and the first show I just stop the VCR and watch them in the correct order.

(For you youngins: A vcr tape is primitive mans way of recording shows manually and the cause of my missing shows when I program the VCR incorrectly or forget to rewind the tape. It was the precusor to TiVo. ;) )

"The Tell"

This show is fast, funny, and just makes you want to go get on a plane and hang out with all the other dysfunctional gamblers.

We even got to see the hustling chick from a few episodes ago. She plays all the angles.

Having the fat guy and the black guy (it's from the show) get all "busted out crying" at the prospect of having loved one suffer for their gambling schemes was played up just enough to be sympathetically funny.

I definitely think John Corbett made the right choice in going with "Lucky" than to rehash his role in the TV version of MBFGW.

I can't agree with this more. Lucky is smart and funny. Glad he signed on. I've always like John Corbett.
