That wouldn't be so bad - I wonder if they are doing it to have Jess's Gilmore Girls spinoff w/ his father follow GG on Tuesday's...

Last night' show was pretty lame. The best parts of the show were definitely between Lionel and Lex.

What bugged the hell out of me:

Chloe's stupid look in the theater when she saw Lana and Clark holding hands.

The lack of a kiss between Lana and Clark at the end. Get it over w/ already...

No Helen.

Actually it mentioned a new rendition of Tarzan taking that spot:

WB is mulling whether to move freshman hit "Smallville" from its Tuesday night berth after "Gilmore Girls" to pass the time slot along to its new "Tarzan in the City" drama series. Most speculation has "Smallville" moving to Wednesdays at 8 p.m., replacing canceled "Dawson's Creek."

Tarzan in the City? Sounds like a winner to me. Birds of Prey sounded like a better idea.

get over it.

It was a rumor, unconfirmed, (hence the I think part) and if was a fact i would have used a spoiler tag.

and trugator what was the point of your post? why even post at all.

and i said the spoiler for the season finale is, u could have seen the spoiler and stoped reading.

The "point of my post" was that I read your post, got pissed because it wasn't in spoiler tags then I absolutely agreed with what clemente had to say. Is that alright with you?

And no, I read fast so I just can't stop after 1 word like "spoiler".

Again as i said in the original post and the one after that, was that this "spoiler" was mealry a rumor, SPECULATION.

Heres another rumor, clark dies, is it true? Hmm could be, mabye it isnt, but do i need to post a spoiler tag in case someone reads it and belives it to be true? I could fill this with rumors, it wont make them true.

Just delete your posts and move on.

Jack_Savage, I can totally understand people getting upset at you not using spoiler tags. The way you phrased your statements didn't make it seem like the spoiler you posted was just a rumor... "I think" referred to how you felt about the poster's comments, and then you went on to say "the spoiler is ________." It's good that you cleared it up as just speculation, but I can understand how others thought you were spoiling the season finale at first.

Also, thanks for reporting this thread... otherwise, I would've never seen you type out :middlefinger:, which basically amounts to you saying "**** you" to another member, which is definitely frowned upon. However, someone saying that s/he is "pissed off" about something is okay. If you can say it on most NBC/CBS/ABC shows, you can probably say it here.

Lastly, in the future, when you report a post, don't post that you reported it, because it drags threads even further off topic than they already were before.

Okay, everyone clear? Back to the Smallville discussion.

Am I the only one who thought the little girl was a Supergirl in the making? She has powers and is described as very malleable with no sense of morality. I quite reading the Peter David comic after a year or so, but wasn't Supergirl written as a changeling who was imprinted with someone's personality? Of course they changed things to fit into the season here.

Yeah, Clark is a wuss for not even kissing Lana as she pretty much offered herself to him but I guess they gotta keep the tension going at least another season.

Static, not to change the subject, I was warned against using the word "pissed" on this forum, by a mod, so either the mods are contradictory, or this is some kind of double standard. I can tell u the mod if u want, he even had the courtesy to email me.

And since using the real words are frowned upon, I can use symbols right? Like these?

I'm not a moderator, but I really doubt that the word 'pissed' would be frowned upon.

If you still have the e-mail, please forward it to me... I'd be interested in seeing the context in which he warned you. If you don't have the e-mail still, e-mail me describing the instance, and include links if possible.

These are not okay. Spoiler tags aren't for naughty language, they're meant for not spoiling things for other people. The traditional "four-letter words" are caught by the forum censor if they're typed out normally and replaced with ****s, and trying to go around the censor, either by using symbols or putting s p a c e s in the word, is against the rules as well.
