The THREE'S COMPANY movie on NBC...

Anyone want to admit that they're waiting for this guilty pleasure? It's like a 2 hr. E! True Hollywood Story!

I'm just curious to see how they recreate the most famous episodes of the series, and if the actors look and sound ANYTHING like their counterparts.

I mean, the casting director must have had a HELL of a time trying to find actors that looked like Mr. Roper and Jack Tripper, for that matter.

It's all about Suzanne Somer's quest for more money, and was made w/ Joyce De Witt as producer (cause we all know she HATES Suzanne Somers).

Comes on NEXT MONDAY, May 12th on NBC.

I watched the True Hollywood Story, and there really isn't much to tell. The biggest "scandal" is Suzanne Sommer's primadonna behavior. Lame.

Joyce De Witt as the producer? More reason to watch. I loved this show in the 70's and 80's and I remember the scandal as a result of Suzanne Somers.

I hope they have a scene showing how Guns N Roses' Slash won a co-star spot on 3's Company playing the part of Larry's chest hair

Why on earth is this being done by NBC? It seems at best to be a cable offering.

As a big Three's Company fan I'm looking forward to this one.

Joyce Dewitt is supposedly narrating the telefilm. There's also some mild controversy over this movie. Chris Mann wrote a behind the scenes book about Three's Company and he may pursue legal action against the producer for taking his work. I don't know the whole story, I only know what's posted here:

This evening I ate my dinner in the den while my wife was watching TV. In the course of 10 minutes, I had to sit through the end of tonight's episode of "Fear Factor" as well as advertisements for both the upcoming "Three's Company" TV movie and the upcoming "Martha Stewart" TV biopic.

Needless to say, it took a remarkable amount of strain to keep from vomiting on my lap.

I'm there as well it's suprising that Joyce De Witt still harbors a grudge against Suzanne "The Butt Master" Somers It'll be interesting to see how this scandal unfolded from her presepctive and the tension it caused on the Three Company set.

On a side note, I'm just amazed that I used to watch this show.

I grew up in the 70's and never missed an episode, but I look at it now, and...

The first 6 shows are still pretty funny and a handfull from the second season are funny, but the rest, you can have. All I can say is, it must have been a 70's thang.........

For those of you still debating whether to watch or not, here's a quote from today' s NY Times review:

"...the dramatic high point of this movie: a prototype of a Thighmaster."

This thing was hilarious. They should just have called it Joyce hates Suzanne. I wonder how long before Suzanne starts giving out interviews to defend herself.

That guy was hillarious! It was like they took a 12-year-old who could do a halfway-decent Barney Fife impersonation and stuck a grey wig on him.

"Norman Fell" almost made me cry, it was just so pathetic.

I agree, even the Washington Post review of the film gave credit to the casting. Hey, I was entertained, can't for next week's Martha Stewart flick
