'90210' Cast Returns to West Beverly

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Almost 10 years to the day they walked out of class shouting "Donna Martin graduates!," the cast of "Beverly Hills, 90210" is coming back to FOX for a reunion special.

Alas, Donna herself, Tori Spelling, isn't scheduled to take part.

Several other members of the original cast, including prodigal daughter Shannen Doherty, will be part of the special, which has the working title of "Beverly Hills, 90210: 10-Year High School Reunion." The special is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET Sunday, May 11.

While it would be good, campy fun to see a fictional episode about what Brandon, Dylan, Brenda and the rest of the West Beverly kids are up to, "Reunion" will instead be an interview special. In addition to Doherty, Jason Priestley, Luke Perry, Jennie Garth and Gabrielle Carteris -- all of the West Beverly Class of '93 -- and James Eckhouse and Carol Potter, who played Brandon and Brenda's parents, are scheduled to appear.

The teen characters graduated from high school in May 1993, hence the special's title.


Has it been 10 years already? Wow how time flies!

It's scary to think that they graduated from HS the same year I did.

On ET last night, they gave the reasoning for Ms. Spelling not appearing on the show. I guess she can not stand being in the same room as Shannen anymore.

Well that's too bad! She has an obligation to appear on this show, since without it, she would only be the spoiled brat daughter of Aaron Spelling!

Yeah don't remind me. My ten year reunion is coming upin a couple months too :p But of course I didn't go to high school with Jenni Garth or Shannen Dougherty :( No point in going.

Heck I'd love to have my 10 year reunion again. As it is, my 25th is coming up next year :(

Man, I got all excited about a new 90210 movie! That would be great. I watched that damned show with a religious fervor and always thought that would be a great idea. Too bad it's just an interview special, but I will take what I can get.

That's the main reason I watch What I Like About You. ;) Also, I could care less about Tori coming to the reunion as long as we have Shannen.

i would've liked to see an actual movie instead of an interview special. :( oh yeah, i also graduated in '93. my 10 year is coming up quickly. i haven't decided if i want to go yet or not.

im with y'all. interview special, eh. are they even going to be in character or is it some clip show with the stars' comments. if it is the latter i'll probably tune it out.

if I"m not working i'll definately watch it..i'm a sucker for Tv show reunion shows.

You ever notice how Shannen Doherty's face is all ****ed up? Her right eye is higher and a little further to the right than her left eye.

She usually tries to hold her head at an angle so it's not so noticeable.

But once you're onto it, it's all you can see. She looks freaky. It's amazing that she was ever accepted as an actress.

It must have been her rack that kept her on the air.

Same here. But I won't be in my reunion special, I'm skipping out on that.

Gabrielle Carteris is closer to 50... 42.

How about they just bring back Ziering's ex-wife on the reunion show instead.
