What Happened to the Terry Tate Mania?
 

Remember this guy? The office linebacker commercial during the Superbowl? The day after, people were talking about it on the radio and the guy even made an appearance on ESPNEWS.

I know they did some online promos or commercial skits, but I thought this character was going to blow up like the "Wazzup" guys or Budweiser frogs (even if it only lasted a few months like most commercial fads).

But, it seems he had one or two commercials and that was it. Is he still in circulation?

I wondered that too I want more of him tackling office squares. It gives me hope that one day they will hire someone like that at my job.

They now have a new 4 minute short on the TT website.

Could be because Football season is over...

Considering the popularity of the spots, I would think we may see him again when Football season is back in full swing.

Yep on the site -- www.reebok.com/terrytate they now have a full 3 min version of the vacation spot as well as a 4 minute clip of the OSPN athlete of the year -- the biathlete cameo there is one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time.
