Simpsons 04/13/03

Good show tonight.

Spoiler:
When I heard that Scott Thompson and Weird Al Yankovic were guest starring, I assumed that both were going to play homosexuals (that is what one article led me to believe). Weird Al didn't - he did a take on Jack & Diane. Keep watching during the end credits as well, as he reprizes it.

My favorite line of the night:
Spoiler:
"Who made you Judge Judy and executioner?"

Jackskeleton 04-13-03 05:45 PM

no new futurama? for that matter no futurama at all?

wildcatlh 04-13-03 05:48 PM

No Futurama. FOX is pulling their idiocy that they'd rather show a repeat of KOTH

movieking 04-13-03 06:14 PM

I am just starting to get into Futurama too. Damn you, Fox!

conscience 04-13-03 06:35 PM

Doesn't it come on Cartoon Network. I watched it the other night.

Will they be showing new episodes or just the reruns?

MrBob 04-13-03 06:43 PM

Just Reruns it will be on at 11 eastern tonight thru thrusday, at least until the 20th, when I belive family guy will take over. Right now they are going thru the first season again.

Family Guy is going to run at 11:30. Futurama should still be running. The Oblongs are going off (or at least away from the 11:30 Sunday timeslot). Home Movies may be bumped as well (not sure if FG will be Sun-Thu or just Sun)

Edit: Just checked. Mondays-Thursdays on Cartoon Network will be Futurama at 11 and Family Guy at 11:30 (Eastern). Oblongs and Home Movies are bumped off the schedule.

This is great so far.

BlackCapTen 04-13-03 07:19 PM

One of the best ones this season thus far!!

Gallant Pig 04-13-03 07:31 PM

Awesome. I always loved flashback episodes, although this wasn't entirely so, it was very good.

That was my favorite line of the show.

I thought this was a good ep.

Gasspasser 04-13-03 08:50 PM

Yeah it was good.

Dr. Phibes 04-13-03 09:04 PM

My favorite line was the one about that guy in the Subway commercial. Something like "Like the guy in the Subway commercials who used to be fat, now he's just ugly." It was mean, but hilarious none the less.

DJLinus 04-13-03 09:26 PM

My two favorites: when Homer said, "Sorry I'm late, Marge. The Velvet Mafia made me a margarita that I couldn't refuse."

And when Homer showed up late to dinner and Marge said something to the effect of "you're always out with your homosexual boyfriends. Hello, Rev. Lovejoy. Hello, Helen. Hello, Principal Skinner. Hello, Duffman."

Very good episode.

Mean, but funniest line of the night.

Also loved Weird Al's cameo.

What a great episode, I haven't laughed out loud so many times in a long time!

I didn't think it was possible, but watching him makes me more lesbian.

Lesbian? This isn't my army reunion.

You're coming home with me.

Yes Colonel.

That Hans Moleman slays me!

BabiG 04-13-03 10:04 PM

"Ugh, I hate the Springfield paper, their headlines are always jokes!"

Deftones 04-13-03 10:13 PM

Marge: Looks like you had a little trouble with the scrambled eggs.
Homer: That was a muffin.

Homer: Calm down, Picky Ricardo. He made us a good breakfast, and you are just riding his butt; and not in a good way.

Good to hear Hank Azaria use his House Boy voice from the Birdgcage, too.

rotfl rotfl

caiman 04-13-03 10:22 PM

"Stupid Flanders with his misleading silhouette."

Samuel 04-13-03 10:31 PM

"Prove me wrong Silent Bob"

ChefWinduAZ 04-13-03 10:32 PM

This episode was great. It was also cool to have Scott Thompson as the other homosexual and, as Deftones mentioned, Hank Azaria revisting his voice from The Birdcage.

It is funny because it is true. :)

Da Thrilla 04-14-03 02:18 AM

Very funny episode...

"I love you...Atari."
