I'm confused by the mixure of Hitchcock and Jackass, however. There's two things you never thought you'd see together.

It was a unique blend of motives in tonight's episode. I was impressed though.

I thought it was good. Some interesting cases.

Very good episode.

I liked the cases on this one. I hate when guys do those stupid stunts. I never liked it when I was young.

Grissom and strippers/dancers is a guarantee for great lines.

The thing is that there are people dumb enough to play that kind of Russian Roulette.

i can't get into this show. i've watched it a few times..

i just don't care for the characters. it seems like the whole thing is about the disgusting things they can actually show on camera! ;) honestly though, i wish there was more character development to make me more interested.. maybe i'm just a drama king and need melodrama to pull me in.. *shrug*

This show pretty much prides itself on no character development.

It would rather focus on the solving of the crime(s). Which, of course, makes it much easier to remember everyones backstory. :D

I very strongly disagree. Law and Order is a show that prides itself on no character development.

CSI has come a long way in the character development aspect of the show. There is tons of stuff, in just this season alone, that goes into depth about the characters outside of work. Here's just a few of the plot lines intertwined with cases this year: Sara's boyfriend who was cheating on her, Grissom's increased hearing loss, Katherine's ex-husband being murdered.

I could see the Jackass angle right at the beginning, so I wasn't that interested in that particular storyline. The "Strangers On A Train" storyline was pretty good though...

Great epidsode for sure, really enjoyed it.

I think the characters are great, maybe cuz I've seen them develop over the 3 seasons, the develop them just enough to get a feeling for what life 'might' be like for them off the job.

I love this show.

The nice thing is that the characters all have backstory that has been slowly revealed over the past 3 seasons, but it doesn't usualy play a huge role in the story on a week to week basis. Something like Grissom's hearing loss doesn't have a huge effect on the show each week, but it does provide us with insight into how his mind thinks and why he does some of the things he does. The same with Warrick's gambling problem (though this hasn't been a big thing in while). Important, but not the driving force of the show.
