Who hates Peggy Hill??
 

I'm a big King of the Hill fan, but I can't stand Peggy!!! Am I the only one??

I don't even like King of the Hill, but yes, I would say she is the most irritating character of the group. The rest are more tolerable.

I always thought Peggy was funny... "I am a substitute Spanish teacher", I dunno, she cracks me up.

She's occasionally funny, but most of the time she's just irritating.

Love the rest of the show, though.

I'm a fan of the show, although I only follow it in syndication, so I don't know much about how the characters are in the newer episodes. I wouldn't say I hate Peggy. She can be a bit annoying, but I think it's funny how serious she takes some things, like her job.

Hate her and I could bearly stand the show sometimes.

I don't mind her when she's off to the side but when her story is the main part of the show I usually turn it off.

I loved the episode where she took "her" students to Mexico and accidentally brought a little Mexcian back by mistake.

That episode had me laughing my ass off.

She is a great counter to Hank.

Funniest thread title I've seen in a while. Saw it and laughed out loud. But I'm with you. I don't like the show. But she's the worst.

Every episode I watch I find myself begging for someone to kill her. Why wont it happen?

I love the show and hate Peggy Hill. The woman is a substitute Spanish teacher that can't speak Spanish yet thinks she does it perfectly. That is why the above mentioned episode where she takes the class on a trip to Mexico is funny. I also hate how she changes the name of traditional dishes, like Spa-Peggy & Meatballs and Apple Brown Peggy.

I cant stand King of the Hill, but Peggy is definately not my most hated character. That title would go to Bobby. I just cant ****ing stand him, and it seems like every episode revolves around him and his fruity behavior.

Love the show, hate peggy. Bobby IS the best character!

Ok, 3/4th of the people posting here saying they hate Peggy Hill also hate the show...seems like a biased sampling :lol:

For the record, I enjoy the show, and for the most part don't have a problem with Peggy. Some episodes she's annoying, but they are few and far between IMO.

Peggy bother me the most, especially her "Hoo Ya" grunt thing she does.

Hank is the best. I also enjoy Bobby. he reminds me of my brother-in-law. Just a little dense sometimes (most of the time).

I've always liked KOTH and seldom have thought anything bad about Peggy. With the exception of Hank, I'm as likely to get irritated with any of the rest of the characters as I am with her.

Love the show.. don't really have an opinion on Peggy, her over-the-top attitude usually makes me laugh.

I haven't got to watch in the last 2 days cause the stupid network it comes on decided hockey or baseball or something was more important.

Don't have much of an opinion one way or the other about Peggy, but Kathy Najimy is just about the most annoying person on the planet, at least based on what I've seen of her on TV.

As far as Peggy goes, I'd have to say my favorite episode is the one where she goes to the state Boggle championship, so I couldn't dislike her much.

Peggy Hill is fine, in a way she's like a much blander version of Marge Simpson.

I don't hate her, but she is annoying, she's supposed to be. That's the point. Her obsession with Boggle is hilarious for example.

You've hit the nail on the head. That IS the point. She THINKS she's all that when CLEARLY she is not. If you watch carefully she radically attempts to hide her imperfections all the time (e.g. hiding behind her "substitute teach of the year" award?! and her apparently HUGE man-sized feet - she goes south of the border to get her shoes).

She thinks she is always right and always perfect - that is what allows the show to go someplace when she goes "down a peg"! I find her that annoying (although she can be).

BTW - Bobby is HILARIOUS! Come on! "I don't know you! That's my PURSE!" (kick in the testicles). :lol:
