not a great episode. the affair was boring as was the capital punishment crime. all that for it getting overturned by ashcroft. weak. my main gripe is you only see chyler in one scene, and there is no line for her, either she's just in the back.
2 questions: 1. was the affair woman rebecca wells from sports night? and 2. why the hell was pete selling drugs and killing people? |
Yeah, I haven't been too impressed by the affair subplot. I hope it doesn't last too much longer.
Every time that woman is on the screen I want to take a nap. I'd heard that role was originally supposed to be played by Bridget Fonda, not that that would have helped. I just think it's poorly written and seems tacked-on. Who was the "selling drugs, killing people" kid? He looked really familiar, but I missed the credits. |
that is pete from smallville.

and i was right. the lady in the affair is rebecca wells from sports night. awesome.

Good to see Teri Polo, but man... this was one boring episode. The affair/marriage subplot is tired. Even the actors don't seem to be able to generate any emotion for their characters.
Has this show been renewed yet? I'm wondering if ABC is just going to put it out of its misery. If my wife wasn't still watching I would have bailed a while ago. |
darn tooten it was a boring episode. i was really happy to see teri polo as well. i am a sports night fanatic since seeing it again on dvd. what a show.
they left many characters out of the episode (chyler leigh (still don't know her character's name), jamie, boyle, manheim, the other da) and it hurt. i'm all for less storylines, but the two in this episode were lame. no chemistry between bobby and the woman, and all the work put into pete was nullified by us attorney general. what was dek thinking? |

This episode felt like everyone was going through the motions..
