Miracles 03/31/03 ... counting down to the inevitable end.

Great episode AGAIN. It is a damn shame that no one else is watching. The show reveals just enough to get you hooked but leaves you slightly confused and unsure about what is going to happen.
The ending is so SAD and ironic. OMG I can't believe Paul
Spoiler:
thought about killing that man

Yet another episode that Paul gets major damage to his face. I am assuming the producers think that his face is "too pretty" and want to rough it up.

Too bad ABC is airing it...KOD.

It so much reminds me of the x-files.
Paul returns to work, as where else
can he go....

 I was thinking the same thing when he was at the hospital.

I thought this was one of the best episodes so far. I guess how he handles what he's going to do with the 4 remaining people will determine his path of good or evil. I hope we get a real conclusion to this since the morons at ABC are going to cancel this.

Even Nowhere Man and The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. were treated better than this.

Oh, well...make room for The Bachelor's Uncle.

I agree that this was one of the best episodes. I also hope that we get a conclusion before it's cancelled. This is one of the few times I make a point to watch a show and it's going to get cancelled.

Sad that this has to be cancelled. I talked to the woman who casts the show, and out of all the shows they cast, she said that this show and Mr. Sterling are probably not coming back because people just aren't tuning in.

Flatlander 04-01-03 02:05 PM

You just named the two shows other than Law & Order that I purposely make sure I have nothing going on during that time to watch them.

Well, crap. There goes another show I liked

'Miracles,' 'Veritas' No More at ABC
By Brian Ford Sullivan

CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC has canceled its freshman drama "Miracles" after its disastrous showing earlier this week. Repeats of "The Practice" are set to fill in for the series beginning April 7.

The news comes as no surprise for the Skeet Ulrich led series as the drama has declined in the key 18-49 demographic in each of its six airings, culminating in its dismal 1.8 rating this past Monday, literally half its debut numbers (3.6/9). In total the series averaged 6.5 million viewers and a 2.5/6 in adults 18-49. It is not known if the six remaining produced episodes will air this summer.

Additionally, the network confirmed its hiatused drama "Veritas: The Quest" has been canceled. The axing of both series leaves only "Dragnet" left from the seven new dramas ABC launched this season ("Push, Nevada," "MDs," "That Was Then" and "Dinotopia" were the others).

"Miracles" came from Touchstone TV and Spyglass Entertainment with Roger Birnbaum, Gary Barber and David Greenwalt as executive producers.

If the skiffy channel was run by people w/ triple digit IQs, they would bankroll this show instead of coming up w/ half-baked excrement about dead lawyers.

Horror and SF shows will not fly on network TV. Period.

It's too specialized an audience (i.e. people who can, and like to, think.)
