Stargate SG1 on sci-fi, why'd they start back at season 1?
 
this sucks. I was hoping to get totally caught up and they restart at season 1
any ideas why?

I dont think they have the rights to season 5 yet as its still in syndication. I think the next time around it will be shown

can someone tell me how apophis dies? I assume that it was part two of the
Spoiler:
supernova sun episode.

Yes, Aphophis dies for the 2nd time in part 2 when the replicators take his ship into hyperspeed, and SG1 destroys the deceleration drive forcing the ship to crash into Aphophis' Planet. The first time, he died on earth after being attacked by Sokar. SG1 returned his body to Sokar in order to stop Sokar from attacking earth. After that, Sokar revived him which they found out about on their mission to Natu (he was renamed Naonac i think.)
